No I understand that, but when I block, it's usually for an amount, rarely do I get a block for 0 unless Sentinel is up. And while Aegis is a -25% Magic, it doesn't affect the Physical Damage taken while the block is in effect. Unless I'm missing something.

3% of anything below 33 is 0, still.

Yeah Size 6 is Aegis only and has a amazing block rate but also blocks for more then any shield.

Aegis is one of those you get what you pay for kind of things. everyone got it right when they said its best of both, but what im curios about is what kind of damage and how long of stun effect to you get with shield bash now?

I want to say the damage is in the 220-230 range and I have no idea on the stun rate or length (going off what I remember seeing in a Fafnir fight a while ago).

I have always been under the impression that there are only 5 types of shields with the 5th type being Aegis only.

Type 1: Buckler Types
Type 2: Round Types
Type 3: Kite Shield Types like Koenig Shield
Type 4: Tower Types like Tatami Shield
Type 5: Aegis

The Aegis blocks at the high rate of the Type 1 with Dmg Reduction of the Type 4.


Edit: Ya dmg is usally in the 250 range. While it doesn't seem to stun for a longer time, it definitly seems to have a chance of interrupting things much more often on the stun.

Can be increased by certain weaknesses, for example, you may have noticed the Animated Shield itself taking more like 370 damage, dunno if this would carry over onto Limbus mobs, but i'm guessing so.
