I got ISTJ. I don't really agree. Cause it says I'm generally hardworking and such and yeah, I haven't been employed for a year and a half cause I'm lazy lol. I'm hard working when I have a job and all...but...don't think I agree. I'll take it again when not tired, maybe I'll understand questions better.

Please, please, PLEASE don't rely on any of these basic tests to give you an kind of real indication of how you might fit into a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test. The testing method they are using for these simple web tests is based only on the original tests as developed in the 1950s as academics have determined were fare too basic. Modern MBTI tests give you a multitude of depth in your answers and each of the eight major indicators are divided into 10 sub-categories. Often you may be just on the edge between one of the two category poles and be bumped into one, even though you have a strong affinity in one or more of the sub-categories for the opposite pole.

Furthermore, the MBTI tests were designed to determine how people behave and think under stress situations; the times when people shed their socially constructed modes of behavior and act on their most basic personality desires and instincts. Just because the MBTI test (even a professionally administered modern test) may show you as an I doesn't mean you aren't extroverted in many ways. It just means that, when push comes to shove, you would rather bury yourself in your own world to seek solace rather than go out and be social.

Lastly, to administer a proper MBTI test an individual must attend a lengthy two-day training seminar and complete a rigorous course of studies to be properly trained and authorized to give a MBTI test. It also requires a pretty damn good knowledge of statistical modeling, research methodology, and social data analysis to be able to truthfully interpret the results of modern MBTI tests. I speak on this out of some authority, but not too much, as I've read quite a bit about these and my mother (PhD and a Dept. Director at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC) is one of these trained individuals who can administer a MBTI test.

To sum up, these internet MBTI tests are nothing more than dime-store psychology. They may offer some very, very basic insight but a real MBTI test will tell you much more about your working profile and you will have a trained professional to help you interpret the results in a meaningful way.

I'm having the same problem as Tyche. Although it said i was an Artisan where that would only be me in regards to excelling in athletic arts. The rest of the fine arts I'm known for being terrible at by whoever has known me.

I've taken these types of tests before - ENFP.
Its a pretty good approximation, but even the more complex tests like the ones Elesirdur mentioned aren't perfect.
Knowing the results of these tests can give you cues on how to deal with certain 'types' of people in a workplace/academic environment. I was at one company where anyone in middle and upper management had to take a rather lengthy mbti test.

This is older than the purity test.

Except this is the first time I've ever seen a site with the gall to CHARGE people for the privilege of four fucking letters lol.

I don't see where it says they charge you for four letters... As I pointed out my post in screenshots... If you sign up (They don't send you shit) it takes you to the page with the four options and one is a free complimetary thing and then scroll down a bit and it has a little table with one of the cells in a yellow background. Anyway I guess I'm just lucky lolz!

I have the same result as Tyche, but have been unable to find said links on my personal page; I'm wondering if perhaps there is someway to get them unlocked or something. All I have access to are the 'career' and 'classic' reports, as well as the temperament mini report
