If i had a wife, her life would be more important to me than the unborn fetus naturaly, i mean she could always have more kids and what sense does it make to endanger the women you suposedly love.

Actually, quite a few of us are in support of legislation that makes it illegal to get an aborting without the father's consent..

I agree with this to, seriusly if a chick where to get a abortion without my consent and i wanted that baby, it would hurt me quite alot, why shouldn't my role in all of this be considered?

I love how people use the mindset "if you don't have a vagina, GTFO". Does that mean if you marry and your husband doesn't want a child, you're fine with that? Or you going to get yourself artificially inseminated and then expect him to raise the kid with you?

I'm heavily leaning towards not wanting children just because I don't want any kid of mine to deal with how fucked up the world is going to be in another generation.

I don't think the same "rules" apply to a wedded couple. It's more of those pick a girl or guy and have sex and end up pregnant situations. And also in a bf - gf relationship. However I do not understand your comment, if she is your wife, why would you want to abort unless it endangered her life?

I might be because of cultural differences, but around here, the woman rarely wants an abortion (unless it was rape) which is probably a direct result of catholic education, once again.

I'm not meaning to say a guy has no say in the abortion process. It is as everyone says, a child is a product of 2. I mean to say that guys should have a tad bit more touch when speaking of these kinds of things. I'm not bothered by the joke of the hanger, but most women are because our body is our temple. Jokes like that seem to be in bad taste and sort of degrade the idea of what conceiving is.

A hanger will cause most of the time damage to the uterus and will, in most cases, render her chances of ever having another baby to 0. If you want to completely destroy her chances at ever having a family, go for it. It's as someone said previously on this thread; If you don't have a vagina, GTFO.

But rapists can, and have sucessfully, pulled off legal battles preventing their victims from aborting children they have fathered. I'm of the mindset that a rapist that does this only wants to further establish his grip of their victim(s), making his crime that much more exhilarating to them.

I'm a full supporter of the woman's right to choose, irregardless of what the father desires. When men get an opportunity to go through pregnancy and childbirth themselves a la the sea horse, then they can start bitching about keeping children.
