    Just some questions

Out of curiosity I got some questions and would like to know people's opinion on it.

    Ok first question:

Are you being persuaded when you accept something? It could be anything like an idea/offer/suggestions.

Example: Bob tells Smith that Red Rose is better than Blue Rose, even though Smith thinks Blue Rose is better at first. After listening to Bob's suggestion that Red Rose is better, then Smith agrees with him that Red is better than Blue.

    Second question:

Can there be any discussion that does not involve in persuasion?

Discussion - an act or instance of discussing; consideration or examination by argument, comment, etc., esp. to explore solutions; informal debate.

did you actually think these through before posting them?

Bob likes a red rose over a blue rose, after hearing someone else say they like a red rose as well, bob still chooses the red rose. Same thing, no persuasion.

    different scenario,

bob likes a red rose, after hearing someone argue in favor of the blue rose, bob still chooses the red rose. No persuasion.

While these are bad examples, they reflect the question asked.

Persuasion is evident in many many places, especially in business and shopping/advertisement. However, just because it is there does not mean it is being used properly and swaying peoples decisions.

Skyylya, I think you mistaken my questions and the example.

The example I provided shows that if Bob likes Red and Smith likes Blue and then after hearing how good Red is, Smith agrees that Red is better. Smith accepts that Red is better but does that mean he is persuaded? When you accept something does it mean you're being persuaded?

And yes, I do agree with you that persuasion is everywhere.
