Taking bets on if SE would patch the Golden Salvage exploit
Shhhh, there is no exploit. >.>Originally Posted by Chupunpupun

im happy theyre fixing that problem where you send tells while zoning. has happened to me more times than i can count. yay.
I am somehow terribly surprised that someone mentioned something about Kings in a timezone other than their own after a fresh maintenance.Originally Posted by Vic
Shocking, really.
Problem is, it's ALWAYS maintenance during EU prime, you never see any maint. during JP or NA prime.Originally Posted by Khamsin
Where did you see they are fixing this? They are talking about game freezing while typing and zoning, not being able to recieve tells while zoning.Originally Posted by Xfaustx
No wonder the game keeps losing players, SE suck at doing anything, keeps fixing stuffs that no one fucking cares, and won't fix the important things. GG SE. /emo off.
Speaking of which, JPs in our server have completely abandoned HNMs, even if it's in their time, it seems. Woot us!Originally Posted by Jeryhn

Hunh, guess I never sent tells at that exact moment enough times to clue me into the reason as to that was why I crashed on zoning... amazingly enough, considering how much I talk. >.>
And the goofy dc icon... isn't that just a duckbert (codename for windower!) thing?
Its actually ban-bait for windower users. That way a GM can tell if you use it and readjust your log-in abilities![]()
your avatar is an emoticon from ZAM, you think windower users are the devil, and you think GMs can detect itOriginally Posted by Ghost_Wheel22

I'd point out that I was using windower when I was being GMed from trolling Erintribal.
And once I get around to making a sig I'll do away with :deadhorse:. I'm too used to the craptastic Gamefaqs board.
Nope. Never used Windower and I have the screwed up DC icon.Originally Posted by Ashira

Light shot = Shadowbind <.< go go Cor
; ; This maintenance is 5-8pm EU time. My Dynamis shell enters at 5pm ;; Our first Dynamis-Xarc in 4-5 weeks and SE screws us. Weekend maintenance and EU time. SE completely sucks. Usually it just screws EU people on a weeknight but this one screws both EU and NA since its a weekend and of course its for some crap no one even cares about. They so need to think of their customers and stop doing bs maintenance that can wait til the next patch. My guess is some lame SE person wants overtime pay and chose a weekend maintenance >.>
If SE were to pick which prime time to start maintenance on, it makes sense that they pick EU. The reason for that is simply because EU has the least amount of players to disrupt. Why anger a larger portion of your fan base when you can (attempt) minimize the damage done? I know it's not fair, but this is how things are (and will be).Originally Posted by Lylie
Why have maintenence at all? just wait until the next major update to fix these minor things. It reminds me of that update where they had fixed the more-than-two bard song exploit.Originally Posted by Jyakku
The song stacking exploit was actually pretty game-breaking and should've been taken care of ASAP. Chocobo hot and cold, on the other hand, doesn't really affect the game at all so it really could've waited til next patch.Originally Posted by Damen
I thought the exploit wasn't worth the trouble it took to set it up. I'm not saying it shouldn't have been fixed, but considering it was in the game for soooooo long more as a bug than exploit just seemed like it didn't deserve its own maintainence and could have waited till next patch.Originally Posted by Viq
On the other hand, I remember when they emergency patched the Tavnazian Safehold NPC that would buy stuff for more than it sold it for. Something along those lines is worthy of a emergency maintainence and I don't see how anyone could complain about that. I didn't even know about the zoning + send text bug until I saw todays maintainence for it.
Glad to see that I'm not the only one that thinks they're up to something else during the maint.
