I hate that I'm totally fucking clueless when it comes to any clubs besides Mjollnir Q_Q. I never got to use a Morgenstern in a merit party to know if it's better than having a Prudence Rod.

You're essentially looking at slightly stronger WS vs. ~x1.5 TP gain rate, it should be obvious.![]()
What's the delay on Prudence and Morgenstern? I can't look it up because I'm at work and every gaming site in the world except BG is blocked.
<edit> 288 for Prudence, 310 for Morgenstern, making total delays 504 for Perdu+Prudence, 526 for Morgenstern+Perdu. Also, offhanding Prudence only makes you swing 1.25x as much per attack round, not 1.5x, so thats more like a 1.3x increase in TP. Makes it a bit closer, especially with Hexa Strike being a crit WS.
I have a question about Mystic Boon for the WHM melee vterans out there. *eyes Izzy*.
Is it better to stack STR on MND on Mystic Boon? I see the Secondary modifiers on it are 30% STR and 50% MND, but does that 50% MND outweigh stack STR even counting in the primary modifier?
Str > Mnd, as it serves 2 purposes (Pdif calc). Use Mnd if you can get twice as much mnd in that spot, and even then it is close.
Mystic Boon does't get an accuracy boost, so you need to equip a lot of that. Attack boosts the damage more than Strength or Mind does, so equip Attack, Strength, since it also adds Attack, then Mind.
How would attack boost the damage more than the Pdif from str and 30% str modifier?
I don't know, that's just what I've seen from using it.
For some reason, attack doesn't affect Mystic Boon very much for me. I found stacking mods works better for it.
Follow Neo's general rule of thumb: If you can get higher than a 2:1 MND:STR ratio in that spot, use MND. If not, use STR.
Maybe I'm just not stacking enough of it? Could also be harder for me as a Tarutaru.
Im having Izzy melee Pandemonium Warden so he can parse agaist his GF's Yoichi this week, Ill let you know how it goes.
Spoiler: show

If that's not true, then I misunderstood what was written, and I will quietly weep into a pillow for a few minutes.
@Rya it works like this:
Speaking from a purely base damage point of view
1 MND = Mod affects = (1 * 0.5 * 0.83) = +.415 Base Damage
6 MND = +2.49 D
1 STR = Mod affects + fSTR affects = (1 * 0.3 * 0.83) + (1 * 0.25) = 0.499 D
5 STR = +2.495 D
Those are both going to round to the same thing, so as far as base damage, they are equivalent. However, the 5 STR will give +2-3 attack, making it better than the MND.
In short: Take 7 MND over 5 STR, take 5 STR over 6 MND.
I almost don't believe some of the mod percentages that are on the wiki. For example, the Randgrith mods were on the wiki before anyone even completed a Mjollnir. Everyone assumes STR is a mod for Hexa/Randgrith/Mystic Boon, but I haven't seen any really good tests proving it is.
Well, that's assuming the info is correct, if you think it's not you can always go test it yourself, Izzy
If Mystic Boon is affected by Dual Wield, does that mean it's affected by Double Attack too?
