WHM Melee random crap

Shit's situational, much as I hate to resort to memes. If you're stuck main healing an entire alliance and still feel like you can melee, you'll want the Minikin option at least. If you're responsible for a single party that's shadow heavy, I don't see a problem with going RR+VV. Anything in between gets murky, with it the quality of other DDs, their need for cures, and the mobs themselves.

Maybe goading or bullwhip belt (haste)

But yea for inside abyssea - Abyssite of furtherence (Increase cruor stat buffs by +10 per) and try to get the RR, VV, and minikin atma
Atma of the Voracious Violet - Eccentric Eve STR+: Superior "Double Attack"+: Minor "Regain": Minor
Atma of the Razed Ruins - Ironclad Pulverizer DEX+: Superior Critical hit rate +: Major Critical hit damage +: Major
Atma of the Minikin Monstrosity - Durinn INT+: Superior "Refresh": Major Enmity-: Minor

So with RR,VV and both furtherence you would have +80 str/dex and +30 for the rest. ~10% Double attack 2tp/tick regain a crit hit rate near 50% and huge damage on crits.
The minikin is 50int and 10mp/tick refresh

WHM can't use Bullwhip belt. They can use Goading Belt however, which is still an upgrade from Swift Belt.

Other than that, nothing else really came out that a WHM could use to melee with. Ziel Charm from Quetzalli is an upgrade to Peacock Charm. Rokugo Hachimaki is also an option to WS with, other one being AMK hat(old).

You can get a Molva Maul to off-hand for the high base damage if you want e-peen numbers, as well as in situations where you wouldn't want to use Kraken.

Pretty much this. WHM was already able to cap gear haste with Swift, so Goading'd be an upgrade mainly for the STP.

All in all though besides that the atmas offer the most potential for a meleeing WHM in abyssea. I'd definitely aim for those.

I haven't had time to work on my trials - too much to do, too many WS kills for my liking, lack of time etc... I've got DMG:+8 on it, but yeah. I've considered a Gambanteinn personally as I've been curious about Dagan and how the weapon would compare to Mjollnir at lv85. Similarly, I've considered Apocalypse for my DRK, but I wouldn't have the time to do the trials for that either, and that'd be even worse on time for me especially if I lacked help (2handed weapon and all). Leans me towards Empyrean.

Mjollnir's 76 dmg, 308 delay, +30 attack at 85.
Gambanteinn's 74 damage, 300 delay at 85, HP+50 MP+50, and occ. deals double damage as an aftermath from Dagan, which is more often than Mjollnir's multi-damage procs (~30%, I would assume). From what I've heard Dagan is like Mystic Boon except it can also restore HP (I could be wrong, but it would explain having both HP and MP on the weapon).

I'd welcome them being close in potential damage output. It's a much bigger difference from Yagrush, anyway (divine veil item anyways).

Doesn't seem like your comparison between Relic and Empyrean takes into consideration that Hexa Strike probably shits all over both of the weapons' respective weapon skills, which would be a massive blow to the latter's damage capacity.

I personally say get an Empyrian. it'll be faster and you get an oat aftermath that procs around 30~40%.
Even without the aftermath you essentially endup with the same weapon. only Mjollinor will drive you much much more insane.

It doesn't even deal damage. I don't see how Gambateinn stands a chance against a fully upgraded Mjollner when you have to skip a 2-4k Hexa Strike to trigger the aftermath.

They look kinda close to me still and I was mostly thinking on the time investment/reward ratio.8500+ killshots vs 20ish manhours of ganking shit in abyssea makes abyssea seem like the easy route.
There's also the fact that so far relic/mythic has been completely destroyed by the empyrians and i dont see the gap getting smaller anytime soon. If anything i expect it to get wider

Additionally, the aftermath loses most of its luster when Kraken Club is an extremely sound option for your offhand.

Sans food i'm sitting on 373 acc, 93 str 74 mnd.

My 2 part question is this, do I have too much acc on my hexa on EP(outside of abyssea)?, and do I have enough acc on something like WOE bosses which are the only 2 places I really find myself melee'n on whm. Or should I just forgo the acc and just pile on the str+mnd gear?

True point, plus I hadn't realized Dagan doesn't even deal damage... at least Mystic Boon damaged the mob. Mjollnir's the clear winner, then - I'd rather be spamming Hexa Strike and using Mystic Boon when necessary. Still though, Gambanteinn isn't too far under it, I'd reckon.

I've never had Randgrith out-perform Hexa Strike, of course.

On a lighter note... I could see the potential of a fully upgraded Mjollnir doing some godly damage on Abyssea.

Imagine landing all 6 hits of Hexastrike as criticals. Then maybe the 2.5x damage modifier procs on one of them hits. Even the best pure DD would cry seeing them crazy numbers.

RR atma ftw...

Now if only SE would do some nice upgrade on mjollnir for next updates.

Club in the picture is the Faux relic(its actually on the side of the SS in the weapon list)(Also Tizona is in the weapon list too so its the same character).

You shouldn't need that much acc for Hexa on EP. Especially if it's lvl 56 EPs.
