That's the dilemma I'm having. I can't offhand the wsdmg club and still get the effect, and I don't know if you can have two naboot +2s (the oat/da seems really promising - even if it means popping stray Mary 6 six times ;; ) Think I'll end up going oat/wsdmg in the end - gives up 9 base dmg, but lowers the delay significantly. Then again, if the wsdmg +10% raises hexa more than 9 base dmg, no harm in off handing a higher dmg club.

level 80 Empyrean is really quite simple to get... Fistule is mega easy. Then you'd have super high base dmg weapon in your main hand, naboot+2 in the off (or kraken if the TP feed is ok)

If you're looking at the Naboot +2 options, you cannot have 2 Naboot +2s being that they're rare. I'm pretty sure you could have a Naboot +2 and a Naboot +1, it just wouldn't let you finish the last trial on Naboot +1, so OAT/da+9 would be possible.

Hmm, I honestly don't think that is the case. They are different trials with different augs, you just can't be on the same trial at the same time.

Ok... I'm 15/50 on Fistule and 18/50 on Bukhis Wings. God knows why I'm doing this other than I've had a lot of fun messing around in aby and I'm currently unlikely to get a Yagrush. However if I'm going to do it, I want to do it properly. I can't redo my Redingote or Legs but I can give up my MKD hat.

Assuming Naboot +2 to be a multihit (still working out how much more work I want to do) tping right now is http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/211836 . Obviously I don't yet hit the 26% I need. I can't hq blessed for love nor money right now but I'm trying. Zeluus and goading are obvious choices and now my WHM EAF is all +2'd I can work on those as wishlist items.

Then looking at hexa (inside aby) and the MKD hat rejigged for ws damage and crits then http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/211838 for this I need to get the belt, re acquire +1 mats for hands and go fight Odin again for the earring.

I have access to all the usual atma but Tamas isn't leaving my finger right now. I'm just too much of a career caster but does this seem reasonable?

there is no reason to keep tamas at all, and being a career caster is as bad an excuse as any. tamas isn't even a good ring anymore (tamas was never good etc), so if you're a career caster you should have enough respect for those jobs to make the upgrade!

My BLM would agree with you. However my WHM/SCH/RDM do not. At least not when healing. Sorry, not happening.

Tamas is probably the best Cure ring around, but I would say that if you have plans to use any melee on any job whatsoever that it's worth turning over for a Rajas.

Tamas is currently the best cure ring around. Until such a time as that changes its staying welded to my finger. My WHM as career support/healer will always take precedence over melee. I rarely ever play PLD and COR. If I could have both rings, I'd jump on Rajas fast but I can't.

I realise the age old discussion about Rajas and Tamas could rage on again. I agree, if melee were a real priority for me in terms of group play then yes, I would get one. It's not. Good old fashioned curing/enfeebling/enhancing etc is. Melee for me is to a) have fun b) test out my capabilities and c) see what I can dualbox as WHM/NIN + something useful. I do agree, Rajas would be ideal however right now, for good reasons I don't have access to one. So please let's just move on.

Looks not bad. Perhaps Hydra Doublet for hexa if you can get hold of one and Mars's ring (They're pretty cheap nowadays, at least on my server). Something different for ammo piece aswell, I personally use Flame Sachet.
