Random question that I thought would fit better here: Wiki lists Mjollnir's MP recovery effect as being overwritten by samba always. Is that the case, or does it overwrite the samba when it activates like other additional effects?
The MP recovery definitely takes priority over sambas, however enspells and auspice probably overwrite it in the same way as excalibur works.

After testing, we concluded that there is a need to lower the damage dealt by the club weapon skill Realmrazer. We'll be making adjustments so that Realmrazer is the strongest club weapon skill for jobs that cannot learn Hexa Strike.

To be fair, what Byrth is saying on the thread could well turn out. It's not just club, nearly all the ws are really mediocre so there could be a way to enhance them further in the future with a 'Group 2' or whatever.
I'd love to be an optimistic fuck and believe somehow SE has a Group 2 plan to make shit better, but nearly 9 years of playing and the recent "Abyssea was a mistake!" interview have convinced me to not hold my breath.
And instead of nerfing these things to uselessness, I'd rather see G2 merits further tailoring a given WS to the jobs that can use. For example, Realmrazer for WHMs could get an added effect of MP return, basically making it a Mystic Boon on crack. For PLDs it could have higher enmity generation, or even override enmity mechanics to force a mob onto the PLD for 5 seconds or so. WARs could get something like "Improves Blunt damage bonus" for the WS. Pick some creative for BLUs. I dunno. Shit won't happen and I already think restricting the WS behind merits is retarded, nevermind the attack penalties and all the "balancing" that's gone on.

How could anyone say Abyssea was a mistake? The new WS's will be shit, and I'm sure dumping more merits into them will have some dumb effect. ie.:

Yeah, or 6.3 fTP with Gorget/Belt. 6.3 fTP with a 100% MND mod honestly still isn't that bad.
Yeah tried it out this morning some more on different mobs. On trash mobs I can't really decide between this and hexa which is better, damage seemed around the same. On harder stuff Realmrazer generally wins. Although I don't really melee anything hard in general.
For those jobs without hexa it's still the best club WS by a long long way.
Is Prosilio Belt (STR+9 Attack+25 Double Attack -5%) worth using for Realmrazer or should I stick with Light Belt? Got hold of one for hexa but wondering if it would be good for this aswell.
Bear in mind it's mostly for use on trash mobs.
Also /hate SE for making Rubeus spats rare/ex and putting them on Kalusatarax. Anyone know how common a drop they are from him?
Stick with a light belt. Gorgets/belts are the only thing that make Realmrazer salvageable.
