This was definitely a great movie. I liked it a lot more then The Devil's Backbone. I just wish they had more fantasy instead of war. In the trailer they made it seem like it was purely a fantasy movie.

Why don't you actually leave the house and see the movie at a theater. Filmmakers are starving because of you.

That monster on the second task is so fucking awesome. Only really stupid thing about the movie was when the girl did something on the second task that made you go:
She got away with disobeying and opening the wrong lock the fairies instructed for her to open-- So she figured just a bite would be fine. It makes sense to me, and it's not an uncommon lesson learned in fairy tales.
Yeah, I know she was feeling full of herself, especially after finding out she is a princess. But there was only one rule to the task and it was repeated to her more than once. Geez. Pan shoulda spanked the princess out of her for that one.

People usually don't like movies when they have gay expectations of them.

look for a torrent seed that has aXXo in the file name. i saw it 3 weeks ago and it has spectacular audio and video quality despite being pirate.

Edit: http://www.fulltorrent.net is arguable the best torrent site out there, and it searches a variety torrent sites out there for you and returns results in bundles. granted it's temp down right now, it will come back up soon.

I really didn't care for it either. I was expecting it to be amazing, and honestly I'm debating if it was even good or not.

The movie was a good movie, but it was indeed a departure from what i was expecting, or at least what the previews made it out to be. I expected most of the movie to depicted actually IN the fantasy world and the power of the movie to come from allagory and symbolism. While still good, the movie was rather straight forward, lacking symbolism, and spending as little time as possible in the amazing world that held the most mystery.

Ya, war stories are great. Depicting the cruelty of war, building the character development up, and great acting make for a great film. Just wasnt what i was expecting walking in.

1hr of "war sux" movie, 15 min of Pan's Labrynth.
