I still don't get why they wouldn't put all the captains through that Royal Guard training regiment upon promotion or something. It's not like new captains show up all the time to be too much of a nuisance.

EDIT: Or was it that them being trained was a specific order from the Spirit King for reasons unknown yet? Am I making that up or did that legitimately happen? Can't remember.

The Spirit King was stated by Kirinji to be interested in Ichigo, so he ordered for them to bring him and his close friends up.

The Royal Guard don't give two shits about the Soul Society. After the SS got wrecked in the first invasion, lost over 2000 normal soul reapers and Yamamoto, did they get any sympathy? Nope, they got a "you failed at your job, you suck".

Next chapter, James' brain will be cheering on Superstar to heal but then Superstar will realize his regeneration doesn't work on internal organs and he will reach out for James only to dissolve into a cloud of spirit particles.

He didn't. Ichigo jumped right through the middle, just like Renji and Rukia presumably did. Renji and Rukia just left earlier.
