So the real question is this: When are we going to see Shunsui, Kenpachi, Ichigo, Byakuya, Mayuri, Ishida, Urahara, Yoruichi, etc. There are so many reveals/plot points/secrets left. I truly hope everything is tied up neatly in the end. Truly Kubo has foreshadowed so much, however it will take ALOT of weekly chapters to fill all the remaining holes. At this point he could be drawing this comic for the rest of his day and not satisfy all of it.

Kubo said that the final arc was going to be longer than the Arrancar arc, and in Kubo's mind, everything after Ichigo and co went home after Aizen's betrayal to Ichigo saying goodbye to Rukia after losing his powers was one arc.

That was about 240 chapters, or a bit over 5 years, so this last arc is going to last at least longer than that. We're about 2 years into the arc so far.

Hitsugaya's ice has never been shown or implied in the least to get even close to absolute zero, and he has never instantly frozen someone just by touching them (IE, not by using already existing ice/water to encase them), but he uses a lot of ranged attacks with his shikai, and it's been stated that he can control the weather with it.

Yes, everything. You're using information to jump to conclusions with bad A+B logic.

Rukia can reach absolute zero. Hitsugaya hasn't shown this ability. Therefore Rukia is more powerful than Hitsu in shikai and Hitsu can't reach absolute zero.

She can basically remove almost all heat from an object, reaching close to zero Kelvin.

Hitsu can control and manipulate all the ice and moisture in the air.

So long as an ounce of moisture exists, he controls it. Let's not get scientific here. Rukia was explaining her abilities. This is not the same thing as Hitsugaya not possessing the same technique.

What you said is even more absurd when you take into account that even Shunsui, the current strongest, said that Hitsu will surpass him in time.

Is her sword more broken? Sure. Orihimme can bring people back from next to nothing. Does that make her stronger than Unohana?

If Hitsugaya could reach close to absolute zero with his ice, then Kubo would have had him mention it in one of his fights. That's how he explains characters abilities. Instead of talking about the temperature of his ice, Kubo emphasized his range and control. In addition, none of Hitsugaya's ice, even in bankai, has had even close to as drastic of effects as Rukia's absolute zero touch upon contact. If Hitsugaya's ice was even close to absolute zero, then Luppi, a foe much less powerful than As Nodt, would have been left like As Nodt was in this chapter as soon as Hitsugaya's ice touched him.

Shunsui said that Hitsugaya will probably surpass him in 100 years. That has absolutely no bearing on how good Hitsugaya or his sword is right now, and also doesn't take into account Royal Guard training like Rukia took, since Shunsui has no way of sending Hitsugaya to get such training. I would be unsurprised if Rukia was on the same tier as Shunsui right now (well, if she has a bankai, I suppose), just because of how broken training with the Royal Guard is.

Mask de Masculine, after his first powerup, effortlessly curbstomped Kensei and Rose. Then, Shikai Renji effortlessly blocked his laser, then blocked a punch ten times stronger than what was breaking Kensei's bones. Then, Mask powered up AGAIN to the point that he transformed, and was punching Renji miles away, and STILL wasn't hurting him. Finally, he used Vollstandig (a massive powerup), and Renji could still curbstomp him by going bankai.

That same Starrk used his strongest attack on 2 Vizard Captains, and did less damage than 2nd form MdM. Granted, they had their masks on, but they might have improved over the time skip. Even if they hadn't improved over the time skip, putting on their masks isn't even close to a 10x boost, which MdM got just by being angry.

Unohana was stronger than Shunsui is, according to the databook, her being their senior, and Unohana stating that no one was as strong as she is after the war. Thus, Neo Kenpachi is also stronger than Shunsui.

Now, Rukia is likely weaker than Renji, especially if it turns out she doesn't have a bankai, but RG training is so plot-tastic and ridiculous, and the fact that Rukia just utterly speedblitzed and curbstomped an opponent that Byakuya stated would be impossible for normal captains like him to defeat without a bankai, puts her on senior captain level easily, IMO.

she only "won" due to her heart/blood been unable to pump around her body so the fear toxin wouldn't take effect (she won so all's fair right?) without such an ability basically designed for this fight she couldn't have won
