Given the Bach story, they probably don't cross over. Instead, they just go back to him and get all omnommed into his "Ich bin die Deutsch Borg, ja!" mechanic.

There's also the contradiction of memory retention. Prior to parrot kid, we were led to believe people lost their memories when crossing over and they even played on this some with one of the movies. Yet, now we also have the Fullbringers getting trained on the side, which would suggest they also recall things. I could see spiritual awareness being tied to retention, as all could see hollows and such, but it's just something we've never really seen elaborated akin to the whole death tiering thing.

3 fullbringers died, not all were slaughtered. Main dude, dude kenpachi sliced in half, and chick that fought renji. maaaaybe the fuckstick that could alter memory, but i dont remember

I haven't had time to go back and read the beginning of this arc. Did they say Bach is the first Quincy, or just the king? People were talking about the quincies going back to him after they die, but that doesn't seem logical, as you have to have been given a piece of his soul (an a letter) to return to him after death. Just seems like Bach was a special/different quincy when he was born that could separate his soul.

Normal quincies probably just die and cross to the soul society (and probably become Soul Reapers ironically enough due to their high spiritual powers).

Whether any memory is retained isn't clear..

I don't think he'd be the first Quincy based on how there were people who worshiped him -- implies the Quincies were a people before them, and he just became their king. Then again, I could be completely wrong, and all Quincy power originated from him. It would make sense if he was the first though, given how he was able to take back powers from Ichigo and Ishida's moms. So in conclusion.. no idea >.>;

The guy who was cut in half (and whose powers I don't think we actually saw..), the head guy, and the guy who could change people's memories when he cuts them were with Ganju. I think the boots chick may have survived actually..

Oh fuck, I forgot we have to have like 10 panels of Orihime and Chad being useless after a "power up." Haven't they been training too?

I forgot about Ichigo/Ishida's mother having their power taken. That doesn't really make sense with how his soul separation was described. It's not exactly clear to me his relation to the other Quincy. Perhaps he shared his soul with some of the early quincies before he was locked away, and thus a small part of him was in many of the decedents. Thus, as part of his resurrection ceremony he called back a few pieces of his soul (fragmented through the generations) to supplement his power.

Ichigo clearly has a piece of Bach in him, so that may make sense.

Though I guess you could argue he was the first Quincy, and that he divided his soul (which became more powerful by taken the souls of everyone he shared with over the ages) amongst the first quincies, and those quincies just bred/had kids through the ages, dividing/carrying on that spirit power.

The three that died did include the memory guy. Tsukishima was his name. Ginjo, the leader and Giriko, the time guy that got slashed up by Kenpachi ate it. Jackie, the chick that fought Renji, is alive as far as I can remember.
