I AM SO READY

These quincy powers are fucking retarded in general. Should've just kept the shit simple with the bows and arrows.
This isn't the first time that Bleach has had a character whose power should make them nigh invincible. It's a counterpole to One Piece where some characters should be pathetically weak with their powers and somehow end up being very versatile. One of the strongest characters in Bleach up until this point has had no powers beyond kill everything in sight.
Spoiler: show
Needs a face off between new guy and Tsukishima.
inb4 hinamori gets stabbed by someone.
From the translation John Lennon says "in this world etc, etc" I assume it works like the toy guy(girl?) of the fullbring arc.
But Kenchan just showed up so who cares.
Because
Spoiler: show
So, since Kubo is going with a "soul reaper's ironically superior ability vs a sternritter" angle this arc, I'm going to say:
A: Kenny's sword is a bucketload of irony and a Kido type that negates all of an enemy's abilities so they're forced to fight him with pure swordsmanship, like he likes.
or
B: He's so fucking strong now he's just going to punch this retard in the face and his head will explode from the impact.
I'm leaning toward B.
Oh, and his eyepatch being on is more than likely because of his strength. We've all seen what happens to people around him when he used to take it off. Imagine if he kept it off now, after his (probably enormous) power boost? He'd dissolve anyone within a block of him.
I think we're all neglecting the very real possibility that within this Quincy's range all imagination can become reality; and that Yachiru began to imagine that Kenpachi would show up and own shit. Hence why he still has the eyepatch and his sword appears tattered - it's the last (only?) way Yachiru has ever seen Kenpachi.
It does seem early to have him fight. I kinda hope Yachiru ask him to stand back and let her fight. That it is her turn to have fun.
As for the eye patch.. he has worn it for so long he is used to functioning normally with one eye. He had one too many drinks spilled as he reached for his cup to far to the side he finally said fuck it and put it back on.
Next week: flashbacks.
Week after that: Ken wins his fights offscreen
god I hope I'm wrong.
I'm torn, on the one hand I want to see Kenpachi use Bankai. On the other hand, that would mean the enemy is strong enough to not be one-shotted by him, and that's the Kenpachi we all know and love![]()
