    not neccesarily, the titel of Kenpachi was a curse to Inohana, a past that she wish could be redeemed - which is probably why she started healing instead. Her lt probably knew that and was glad that Unohana could redeem herself by fixing what she broke (Kenpachi), getting rid of the title Kenpachi, and redeeming herself in the process. In a way, forgiving herself. That's my guess to the lt reaction anyway. Unohana used to love to fight, and there was no one stronger until Kenpachi cake along, so she could never get rid of the title.

    Japanese's grammar structure often means that the subject and object of a verb aren't explicitly written out, and must be gleaned from context. The translators just went with different interpretations, and it's tough to know what Kubo meant.

    On another note, if you look closely at the end, Grem still has his arm; you can see him still putting his hand in his pocket. I could see this fight lasting a few chapters.

    He'll kill this guy for messing with Yachiru, then go after the big boss, maybe encounter one or two along the way, team up with Byakuya at some point, and eventually lose to the boss. So expecting 2, maybe 3 more fights? Kinda expect him to off screen a few guys.

    Oh I'm assuming there'll be a few jumps. But eventually (like in a year+) we'll get back to him. I think we're gonna have a lot of fights where Shinigami win, then start heading to the palace, and we won't see them again till they meet up. And also, Ichigo isn't showing up till after that..

    How long have this arc been going on for? He said this arc will be larger than the Hueco Mundo arc, and that one lasted how long?
