I think there's a possibility that Gremmy can only use his imagination on things he's touching. It would explain him not just imagining Kenpachi with no head, for example, and would explain why he felt the need to touch Yachiru's hand before turning her bones to cookies. He's been in contact with the air, so he can create things within it, and the ground, so he can raise it up and make giant fissures, but not Kenpachi himself, so he can't imagine him to death directly.

I dunno, just a theory.

I get the urge to go back into Ken's fights in the manga. I suspect Ken vs. Ichigo round 1 hasn't been topped yet, but that's probably because his opponents have been getting progressively less interesting as time has gone on. Kubo's gone back to the 'disinterested psychopath' well to design baddies so often he's gone and put one in front of Ken and it's getting on my nerves more than usual.

I get the urge to go back into Ken's fights in the manga. I suspect Ken vs. Ichigo round 1 hasn't been topped yet, but that's probably because his opponents have been getting progressively less interesting as time has gone on. Kubo's gone back to the 'disinterested psychopath' well to design baddies so often he's gone and put one in front of Ken and it's getting on my nerves more than usual.

Honestly, I don think this is Kenpachi's fight. The guys outside questioned why they weren't able to sense Kenpachi before he appeared there. I's probably the vice captain fighting still, probably by imagining him in to existence. Or maybe her bankai is to mimic other people, we still haven't seen her bankai. And her fight wasn't very long.

It does make sense, her sword mimics her attacks, so her bankai could possibly mimic other people or something. Like someone said earlier as a joke "Kenpachi is her bankai", lol.

Would explain how he just "appeared", either through her bankai, or her imagining him in to existence. After all, who knows him better than her? She's touched him frequently (which does sound a lot more sexual than I intended it to), so it makes sense she could mimic him perfectly.

We haven't seen Aizen's bankai yet, so I'm going out on a limb and assume the whole Quincy war could be an illusion because we haven't Aizen's bankai yet, because Aizen hasn't used his bankai yet. So it may be all an illusion.

I wouldn't just laugh off Uzor's assumption (this time around), especially after when Yachiru explained her sword's ability. A point in his favor would be the fact that she has no visible shikai release command -- the same might apply to her bankai as well.
