Wasn't there at least a couple months (if not more) between the Naruto movie and the Bleach movie? We only got the Naruto movie a couple weeks ago, so don't count on the Bleach movie for another 1-4 months.

Kensei turns into a hollow, Mashiro is nowhere to be found. Tessai is the head of the Kido Corps, Hachi is his second in command - Ukitake remarks that it's rare to ever see Tessai anywhere, and Tessai dispatches Hachi to the scene. Rose, Love, Lisa, and Shinji all arrive at the scene to find Hiyori being attacked by Kensei... Shinji saves Hiyori... so far that's it.

From the first couple episodes of the arc it looked like it had potential, but I'm having my doubts now. Also, the head assassin shown at the end is a blatant ripoff of Kakashi. I predict he'll lose his left eye soon to complete the uncreativity.

Shinigami Cup delivered as usual though. New opening and closing are growing gradually more catchy after each episode too.

Interesting chapter. The version up on onemanga though... most of the Vizards' names are translated differently than usual. I had to reread each name several times to figure out what it was supposed to say.

Prediction for next week: Ururu and Jinta are lab techs in 12th division.

After reading it, I think I'll have to rescind my prediction from ~5 pages ago that Urahara has Vizard powers as well. Alas, it would have been cool if he was.
