    I'd really love to see Ishida's father's take on all this. Seems like this arc was full of good ideas that never came to fruition due to Kubo's shitty style of pacing.

    Also, don't forget, although we got a lot of Isshin's backstory, he was a captain and we still haven't seen his Bankai. I imagine both of them will pop up before everything is done.

    Meh, I stopped caring about Isshin & Ryuuken as soon as Kubo fucked up that backstory when he rushed into the final fight with Aizen. So much potential wasted.
