Can't check right now but I'm pretty sure Gremmy just made them fall into a crevice or something when he imagined that giant plateau, so they may or may not have been dead after the fall.

Not even worth arguing over though, either way we can say pretty confidently that they're dead now.

I really don't see how much different this "Love" guy is to the 7th Espada in Hueco Mundo arc...considering its initial match-up included Byakuya, should've been done with him in like 1 chapter...

I think the failure here is that we're going off Isane's words alone.
I mean Kubo can always rewrite crap to say "No actually they weren't really dead"

Alternatively, a Sharingan did it.
