Yeah, if it was just Ichigo, like when he was coming back to Karakura Town, it'd be feasible to believe there'd be no one left but Bach for Ichigo to fight when he gets there. But since his friends are there too, the Zero squad can't come out on top.. Blehhhhhhh......

It's either they got stomped quick, or an illusion. Those were the two possible outcomes to the last few chapters. And after Yoruichi and Byakuya ran the latter into the ground with deus-ex-utsusemi over and over again, I think most of us were not expecting Kubo to run with it, again.

I will say, though, that I'm interested to see what Numaiya can do all of a sudden. His Zanpakutou being in a aquarium-thing is intriguing.

Okay, some people were upset cause they thought Zero Squad was going to get face-roll punked... and now it turns out they're not(yet) and are actually quite a well organized badass team... and now its "Pfft, so predictable".

Its a fucking Shonen Manga, if you're in it to get deep compelling twists and turns in the story, you're an idiot and deserve the confused frustration you bring upon yourself every week when you expect him to do something blindingly original. All thats here for you is 1-upping your opponent, power ups, DBZ and tits. if thats not good enough kindly google GTFO gif and imagine I posted it.

(or stay and complain cause your whining is the only reason the Bleach thread is bumped and I therefor remember to check for the next chapter)

As far as my prediction for the team go, I'm guessing either Ichigo's friends will stay and help fight off those 4 with the help of Zero Square (perhaps Sword man reluctantly allowing them to fight the other 3 while he takes on one, or he takes on 3 and them one or something)... or Zero Squad wins, then attempts to hold of Bach while Ichigo has a "wtf you doing Ishida" moment with Ishida while they fight, and Ichigo's support fights the right hand man. Alternatively Ichigo could fight right-hand man while Chad/Orihime friend talk Ishida, possibly turning him in time to help Ichigo fight Bach.

I really really doubt no matter what that and Orihime, Chad, Fatrandom and Yourichi are going to jump in and defeat those 4 if they actually do take out Zero Squad... I mean I bet Yourichi could smack down one of them, but Chad is Chad and Orihime is Orihime... I don't think they're more powerful than Zero Squad even by Kubos troll standards.

I'm sure it'll be the most predictable thing to a lot of people but frankly I'm interested enough to see the outcome that it keeps me coming back. I'm not expecting a masterpiece of storytelling however.

well, who cares, the imagination guy's power should be back in Bach's, he can just "imagine" the jail away right?

Bleach, where characters needlessly explains their own powers to enemies is the only consistent thing going on.... god I hope Kubo reads some JoJo...or at least that chapter in YuYu Hakusho where Genkai gives Yusuke crap about enemies won't be stupid enough to explain their powers to you...

This is manga, everyone explains what they're doing for the reader, not for their opponent's benefit.

Though it is funny to see the villian/good guy get stomped on occasion due to their explanation.
