Yes and after 20 chapters of imagination bullshit, Bach is finally injured with a scratch, then Superstar can just cheer him on to cure him.

Does he really get the unique abilities back? Or is it just their reiatsu that the individual accumulated over the span of getting the gift/letter till they died. I thought some ceramony had to be preformed too like with robot and Iron guy

My assumption was he got the abilities back because they only have those abilities because of him, so he must be the originator of it.

Rereading the chapter 565, first part of it basically states that whoever received Bach's soul, whatever ability and knowledge they gained returns to Bach. Later in the chapter even, it even stated that Bach has spread his soul throughout Seireitei during the invasion. So anyone who died, whether Sternritter OR SHINIGAMIS will offer their powers to Bach as they die.... yes, so potentially Bach also has Yamamoto's powers....

but yea I doubt Kubo actually re-reads what he writes or even tries to stay consistent....

Well, either way, he obviously took inspiration for Yhwach from vampire lore, considering he imbues their souls with letters by having them drink his blood... And he has to sleep to regain his power... And he created them all... Hell, according to lore, German vampires have a form of long-distance magic that drains the spirit of their family members and kills them.

Not really speaking ill so much as highlighting how a DEM macguffin doesn't necessarily have to be bad. If Thanos can blink out half of existence, I'm pretty sure Bach can summon meteors from his ass and fart fear gas.

Here's my prediction for the next few chapters:

Zero Squad members pair off with the leet Sternritter's and they fight one on one. Each fight takes several chapters and we see dat panel a thousand times. Zero Squad all win with only a few cuts and bruises. Haschwalth steps in and activates his trap card saying that his power has been active the whole time and all their good fortune has been nerfed because balance. He uses AoE and one shots them all. Bach faces off against Beard Dude. He goes pikachu on his ass and looks like he has Bach on the ropes. Bach now explains how he has absorbed all the Sternritters powers, blah, blah.. and is now hax. Could have taken him out anytime he was just curious how strong Beard Dude. Rainbows come out of Bach's butt and he takes him out. Several shots of Uryu looking shocked. As soon as they are about to step into the Soul Palace Ichigo and the fellowship of the ring show up.
