I was thinking about how there's so many people that haven't gotten to show their full powers yet (Shunsui, Ukitake, Urahara, Yoruichi, Shinji (lol), Isshin, Fullbringers, Kenpachi), and how Kubo said that this arc is going to last longer than the full Arrancar arc, and now I'm getting afraid that if/when the Soul King is revealed to be evil, he's going to spawn his own dozen plus flunky group.

I hope not, but I can't shake the feeling.

I have a feeling the 5 war potentials will stand together against Yablahblah at some point. No idea how that would even work, but I can see it happening.

He's the one who's supposed to succeed Bach, and everyone made a big deal out of it (because they all thought it should be Haschwald). I'd say that makes him a pretty good candidate. Orihime also has potential but I think Uryuu makes more sense in the context of the war.

Either way I think Kubo completely forgot about that detail.

I don't think he forgot, he just wants us to feel his awesome anticipation. Y'know. Kinda like the shocker of the bodies Mayuri found and how for the 4 years of us waiting kubo was saying it was a super crazy secret blahblah. only to find out it was stupid ass fucktard low-tier arrancar. (arrancar, right? there's so many titles/groups I can't keep track)

The chapter before this wasn't bad. The whole "rise my army who got owned and mysteriously now will not get owned" is why I really don't like the direction Bleach heads with its stories.
