The whole Yachiru bit just reminds me how much potential this arc had, but ultimately failed due to Kubo's complete lack of concept in regards to pacing. Kubo is the type that strikes me to be surrounded by yes men. His editors should've caught this shit and advised him accordingly.

We still don't even know if Kira is alive or dead, and that shit happened like over a year ago.

Gotta remember this is bleach. How many people have been sliced in half/blown apart and are perfectly fine now because a wizard did it.

Kira's was pretty explicit, much in the same way Sasakibe's was. If he was going to show up he would have by now, because he's not strong enough to deal with any of the enemies left.

Rose had a hole blown in his chest and he was good. Blondie was punched in two and was okay.

Koma was also nearly cut in two, and he was fine.

To be fair, yes, there have been some ridiculous injuries (Hiyori getting cut in half stands out to me), but I think with Kira, they said his energy vanished as well.
