    So people hated on this chapter, but I liked it. We got a sitrep on pretty much everybody, which was nice seeing as the fates of some of them were kind of up in the air. The only ones we didn't hear about were Ukitake, Kensei, Love and Yachiru. Ukitake I think was last seen with Shunsui? Yachiru is still MIA. Love/Kensei are still sort of in limbo, although I guess it's more likely now that they're actually dead since Kisuke never mentioned them. The only other people we have no information on are Toshiro and Rangiku, but it seems something important is going on with them.

    Edit: Guess it could have been a mistranslation/typo with regards to Momo, but I trust Mangastream over Mangapanda.

    Edit: I guess we're also still missing updates on a couple of the Vizards (barrier-guy, crazy chick, Lisa, Hinori and the dude with the afro).

    Momo is Shinji's VC, so it would make no sense for her to suddenly be promoted to Captain off-panel with 1) zero acknowledgement from Shinji and 2) when the last we saw them they were fighting Bazz-B.

    I did like the chapter, but I found the Soul King part incredibly contrived and boring.

    I immediately assumed it was a typo and just waited for mangastream as usual.

    I liked the chapter, but it's exactly as kuro, the soul king part was meh. Plus the ending has me generally curious wtf zero squad monk dude means.

    Given the fact that Juha Back was talking about how the Soul King could see into the future, and the fact that he's his dad, we are essentially looking at dudes who will be fighting an boss who can literally see into the future during his fights, giving him the ultimate upper hand. But we already knew this was the power of The Almighty.

    He said the 7th and the 9th squads are moving with the 12th. That's presumably because Mayuri (12th) is currently controlling zombified versions of Rose (7th) and Kensei (9th). They are also presumably in control of Hitsugaya's (10th) zombie corpse.
