Bach, before absorbing the defeated sternritters, one shotted Yamamato (though after Yamamato was a bit spent).

Bach has since then absorbed all the power (and abilities presumptively) of Fear, Imagination Dude, Love, Helmet dude, Wrestler dude.

Bach has also absorbed power (and abilities) from BazzB, Trap, Zombie, and the rest of the survivors when he distributed their energy among his guard (and himself?).

So we're dealing with a guy that has like 10x Captain level strength, can see the future, can make his imagination a reality, and has Yamamato's Bankai.

Exactly how is that defeatable by any combination of people in the story?

I feel like attacking him in numbers would only play into his ability. He, above all the others, probably needs to be dealt with one-on-one.

Definitely, which is why I feel he's going to try asserting himself over Uryu 1v1 as Bach's true No.2, unfortunately and most probably in a "DADDY LOVES ME THE MOST" sort of way. Uryu will win because he's the smart person/tactician/glasses wearing shonen archetype and he will do something that Kubo sincerely believes is very, very clever.

Also, for the same reason, Uryu will inevitably 1v1 Ichigo because they're rivals, as that's what happens to rivals in shonen manga.

Outside of that, Uryu's motives aren't clear. I can't see his endgame. Immediately passing all other quincy in rank and trying to keep a low profile; pressing the notion to his friends that his allegiances have changed... who's he kidding? Himself? Not Haschwalth or Bach (especially because Bach hax makes him apparently know everything about everything that is everything). We're supposed to be surprised when he starts fighting for Team Protagonist again? I already feel upset thinking of how lame it's going to be.

Exactly how is that defeatable by any combination of people in the story?

Kubo's notion is that the worse the odds, the higher the stakes, the more significant the victory will be when Ichigo inexplicably does it anyway.

I'm feeling it a bit presumptuous to say Bach actually has all the SRs powers since, aside from bankai thefts, I don't recall ever seeing him duplicate a Quincy's ability. Probably easier to think of them all as a bunch of energy tanks while he's one big tank. Though, just like a shinigami's powers vary, so do Quincy's even though they run on the same fundamentals. But all this is really just the fault of us still knowing fuck all about him other than fact he was some creepy black baby that people touched to feel better.

Well, yes, but remember; those aren't actually THEIR abilities. They get the abilities through the "letters" he imbues in to their souls. He essentially creates the powers in them. So there's no guarantee he actually receives those powers once they die. He absorbs their souls, but since those powers aren't technically a part of their soul... If anything, he already have those abilities and share them with his underlings through the letters. But again, there's been no signs that he have any of those abilities. Although I suppose he simply haven't had the need to use them yet either way.

That's what we'll all be thinking until he takes his glasses off and slicks his hair back, and it's revealed he was Aizen's son all along. Cue hogyoku fusion dance, and the Quincy are rekt, leading to the climactic Ichigo fight.
