It's actually worse than nothing happening because he basically went back on a lot of things that happened. Ichigo did nothing after being built up, the hand thing ended up being totally useless (so far), even the whole process of getting the gang up to the soul king apparently seemed like it made no difference to anything. Seems like he couldve saved like 2 months and just had bach go up there and start absorbing the SK right off the bat.

Only thing that wouldve avoided was Ichigo killing SK

Did the elite Sternritters just all decide to go on break for awhile then go back now? You would have thought they would have tried to stop the friendship squad and soon as they showed up in the Royal Realm so they wouldn't interfere with Yhwach.

Nah. Remember Ichigo and friends saw the dead zero squad and talked with the monk after he pulled himself back together. They were probably just off having a circle jerk.

We saw Ichibei dead but we have no idea how long that fight took in relation to how long it took the Elites to wreck the rest of Zero Squad (or if we do, I just can't remember). They all pretty much got Kensei'd.

Did I miss something? Thought they were talking about these things coming from the SK, not Bach (unless they're just gonna call him that now.. which is confusing).

Interestingly, they say the SK had his power limited by being "contained" by the Soul Reapers.. But if the SK was a captive/contained, why is Bach wanting to kill him like he's an ally to the soul reapers?

Also, this shit is getting very Full Metal Alchemist. Looks like the Soul King has been absorbing souls all along.
