I have a hard time imagining he's going to go out without using his bankai. Kubo knows too many people want to see it.

People die from small slashes to the body. He was shot in 1 arm and it went through his body (taking into account the sniper's special ability). All in all, meh!

He's going to continue fighting them from a distance, they'll be scrambling trying to stay alive, not lose more limbs, etc, when suddenly a giant tornado of spinning death will appear behind him (so we get the Kubo-shot), and Hisagi will reveal himself to have survived as he kills him with his Bankai and thanks the sniper for helping him get over his fear of using his Bankai. And then Hisagi will see Kensei and Tousen (Kensei died, right?) who tell him to be the leader of their squad, etc.

Probably not that far off, tbh. I've always envisioned a Death-themed bankai; Shroud and giant Scythe and all.

I just can't imagine he would get 1-shot by mask de masculine, healed, only to be 1-shot again.

So sifting through mangapanda's horrid translations, Mayuri just gave zaraki an anesthetic to knock him out, and he's seemingly hinting at the fact he can heal him back up? I'm really hoping zaraki doesn't end up without his other arm forever, it's kind of poor writing ( i know, lol kubo).

And yes, totally agree; Mayuri is a beast. Always fun to watch.
