    He was turning anger into power (with the transformations being bigger as a side effect), instead of damage into size.

    I would be unsurprised if he could turn damage taken into multiple different things, like Pernida and Lille has multiple aspects to their power.

    My point was it's the same effect. Getting stabbed -> Bigger is essentially getting stabbed -> getting angry -> getting bigger.
