Screw you I'm excited.

Oh fuck not Hitsu!! <_<
Hinamori is around this fight, right? Still time for her to get thrown at him~
Gotta admit he looks cool in a military coat.
Kubo really loves the "once you use your attack on me, I'm now immune to it" routine. Lethal dose guy is immune to anything you attack him with (though maybe only if it doesn't kill him in one shot?). Viking dude just gets stronger with attacks. Bach has basically omniscience and (for some fucking reason) is thus immune to your attack because he understands it.
Don't forget Aizen "I'm immune to your two-hit kill simply because it would be anti-climactic if I died right now" vs. Soi-Fon
It's a battle of reiatsu, unless you're a Quincy who analyzes it and then like totally neutralizes it. Then it's a battle of plot armors.
The logic there was that his spiritual pressure was so much greater than Soi Fon's that her shit just didn't work, which at least made some modicum of sense.
It's been forever since the Fullbringer arc aired and the show got cancelled. Anyone know if Kubo & Co. have been shopping around for a studio to begin animating the 1,000 Year Blood War arc?
There's like 90 episodes worth of material at this point, would take them a long ass time to catch up to the manga. Would be basically no filler.
I don't think my heart can handle old man Yama being sliced in half animated.![]()
Oh you know he'd end up just cut down the chest and falling over before getting blasted into blackened skin by Bach.
Honestly does anyone really care how the series ends at this point or is it just me?
I just want it to end but the plot armors and all the BS is getting rather annoying. Old DBZ episodes are starting to gleam significantly by comparison. They've literally derailed themselves so far off and the battles are as bland as can be (saying a lot comparing it to dbz fights. . . ) I don't see how anyone could be entertained at this point. I think listening to a five year narrate what happened thus far, is significantly more entertaining than actually going through what actually has happened.
Remember, Kubo shines as an artist and as a storyteller, but he's still a horrible author.
What battles are still going on right now aside from these 2?

Did we see how the fight between fire guy and #2 ended?
None. There are just so many fucking characters that were alluded to YEARS ago at the start of this arc who still have yet to participate in the conflict or reveal their bankai.
Still years and years of chapters ahead of us before the story concludes. Maybe he'll finish around 2021 for the 20th anniversary?
As with many mangaka, his reach extends his grasp. I'm still salty over how Disciple Kenichi abruptly ended. It was like a 5 year-old telling a story, growing bored halfway through and just throwing the "and they lived happily ever after" wrap-up out of nowhere.
I try not to get overly invested in manga at this point because so many end like this. God forbid a Japanese dude kicks the bucket and you get nothing at all. I'm worried that Hajime no Ippo is gonna end like that.
