Eh? That's not true, I don't think it's hard to tell between a good and bad seiyuu, and I think most Japanese would agree with my choices. I've been watching anime for over a decade, Theres very few VA that can voice any type of character believably - Mamiko Noto, Ayako Kawasumi, Saori Hayami are all great.

Chiaki Omigawa is terrible, Yuko Gotou is rather grating as well.

He is already in bankai because he had to cut through the enemy's rank as fast as he could. For the power up..maybe, but I'm going to put my money on Orihime saving his ass this fight, or doing something to give him an edge toward the end. The power up is going to come for the next fight against Aizen, Noitora can't be that much stronger than Ichigo

lets not forget the very simple reason of him needing to get to orihime faster.

This filler feels like its coming to a close. The end of this filler isn't as bad as the start was. At least they are back in Soul Society. It'll be over soon enough and then who knows.

they'd still be pretty close to the manga. there could be some kind of huge twist to expand the fillers.
I'd rather them do a lot of fillers now than interrupt the story agian.

Yeah fillers have gotten better since that assassin dude was taken care of, at least now there's some sort of story getting filled in rather than the generic damsel in distress thing that was going on

I like Soifon's fighting style, and it never hurts to see more of it.

I think the new captain is still hiding way too much, and possibly ends up being a bad guy as well. I just really can't think of any other way for them to end this filler arc with him still being alive and the captain of that squad when that squad is still without a captain in the manga.

The opening scene shows ichigo and new captain fighting together but that could be meaningless. In the previews for next week it looks like a second ichigo like the assassin dressed up like him.

Kenpatchi should have said something like he killed an assassin that came out of the little girl but how the old guy said that was all when soifon was telling him about kumori it seemed like he knew something already.

There's no such thing as filler for the manga. >.> Filler by definition is extra material put out to make space so the manga can stay ahead of the anime so material doesn't run out.

I'm pretty sure he meant that the manga is focusing more on sub-fights that might be a bit less interesting than the Ichi v Ulqui fight or anything regarding the top 3 Espada, or Aizen, hence "filler-ish" until the manga gets back to something more fun.

Ya, as far as I'm concerned this is filler. Filler is just shit they do to make time to work on other stuff. They are probably still working on Ichigo/Ulq and Aizen/Ichimaru/Tousen + Top 3 Arrancar vs 13 Squads. God knows I don't care about seeing these 4 idiots fighting anyone, they all suck and their counterparts are the typical "hey we fight/look really similar to you, isn't it coincidental we are matched up like this? omg!"

well, the only ones with Bankai who arent Captains are Renji, Ichigo, and Ikkaku unless I'm forgetting someone.
Ichigo is on Captain level, and the protagonist, so of course he has one. I dont really find it that odd a couple vice captains have Bankai. After all, it's not something you get after you become a captain, it's a requirement.
and even if they do have Bankai, can they actually use it well? Renji's control over his bankai is pretty weak since it's relatively new. Ikkaku seems to have his in control pretty good, but all it is is a bunch of big ass blades. Hitsugaya might not even have his bankai fully mastered.Unless he's always stuck with that Ice pedal countdown thing.
