And this is coming from me, who have countless times defending the stupidity because I enjoyed it but this guy is not only unenjoyable but downright annoying.

You guys are expecting him to deviate from this formula or deviate from the "Uryuu saves Ichigo and gets his ass-kicked off-screen" trope. It's not happening.

This next fight will consist of Ichigo confronting Bach, Orihimme getting sidelined having to save an Uryuu who gets tossed at Ichigo's feet mid-battle, then Ichigo reaches Overdrive Break Mask Quincigami Level 3 and grows black tars of eyes on his face and can see the future. He then kills himself, unlocking Vizard Resurrection Segunda Etapa Tercera. Orihimme goes insane, pierces Bach's face with her super powers, only for him to say "LOL DIS MY TRUE POWAH" and release his power. Aizen comes to help, having freed himself somehow and distracts him a la Vegeta & Cell, gets one-shotted by Bach's butterfly form while Zaraki comes down and cuts his arm off giving Ichigo the opening he needs to slice him down the middle of the page. Then in the next chapter a bleeding Bach is rejected by the King's arm and says "IF YOU HAVE THE GUTS TO FOLLOW ME TO THE SHADOW REALM COME WITH ME" and kidnaps Orihimme.

Then the final, final arc begins.

Like I said, I wasn't surprised AT ALL. I just wanted to be WRONG. I knew what was coming. Kubo has completely sucked any fun out of this fight for the reader. Zaraki went from being an overpowered badass for the past 10 years to getting curbstomped every fight; Hitsugaya did his asspull super-secret technique/powerup, and byakuya used what he learned from training. What's left?

And I swear if Momo comes to help hitsugaya and kills him, I'm shitting in a paper bag and mailing it to Kubo's doorstep.

Speaking of which given all the random powers being thrown around why has it been so long since Ichigo used his mask, gone full hollow etc? I miss Shiro shenanigans

When's the last time we've even seen ichigo fight beyond tossing around the 4 female knights? A year ago? He just hasn't fought much to warrant using it.

True but before that he did some. I mean last time he's used more hollow like powers was like a year before the anime ended before he fought Gin iirc. Heck I'd at least expect them to have a talk or something especially when they were going on about the true nature of his powers/zanpakto

I'm not sure if we'll ever see hollow Ichigo again given the general reconciliation between himself and Zangetsu, as well as it being reforged, I guess.

I don't think we'll see the mask itself again but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he still has those powers and the physical manifestation is either no longer required or just looks different (like skin tone change or something).

We haven't seen him fight in forever because he's already OP as fuck and the only real threat to him is Bach (or perhaps Hashbrown at night). He's like Gildarts in Fairy Tail now, he's just too strong to be put up against anyone.

Shit. Goku just broke out Kaioken so anything is possible. I don't expect it but I'll be pretty excited if it happens! Seeing him Rip at his face was always pretty cool to me at least
