This time I'm willing to let it slide since it seems Ichigo is going through a rapid progression of power-ups rather than drawing them out slowly -- he just unleashed his hollow powers last week(?).
Spoiler: show
At least you can justify that with the fact that Ichigo has never been exactly a smart dude.
He'll turn into white with sunglasses and a bow and arrow.
His arrows will be Zangetsus charged with Cero energy and shot with a quincy bow
Honestly I'm not sure any transformation he could do could beat Bach. Ichigo's transformations have just been power upgrades. Insane power upgrades, but power upgrades.
Power upgrades don't work against Bach. Like the viking dude, you can't just throw speed/power at him.
I think he was already given the answer to what he needs to do. Yawch doesn't see all but sees the possibility of what will be. He may be on top looking down on all that possibility but that doesn't mean he's actively looking at them all. Ichigo pointed that out himself. It may be beating a dead horse to us (readers) but Ichigo's method is seemingly the correct one. "Decide which course of action is so lastly to be seen by him and follow through".
It's not like Ichigo ever goes in with a plan but if this is his line of thinking I can't fault him. Because at the end of the day, Yawch DOES see his own defeat since he's still bothering to go through with the fight.

I mean theoretically If he can see all outcomes, he should logically be aware of any outcomes in which he loses the battle, no? I mean infinite universes etc, there has to be outcomes where he loses the fight... it would make sense he would not tell Ichigo about these outcomes, and my guess is he's attempting to lead Ichigo down the paths that Ichigo will lose in with his speeches and shit.
That my take on his power... I know he can manipulate and prepare for these outcomes, but if his power is to see all outcomes, there still must be a path or outcome where he fails and Ichigo wins, it would be statistically impossible in a near infinite outcome situation for him to win every single one even with the ability to prepare.
Good point. He pretty much gave it away. The sands of date apply to him as well. That means there are the ones where he sees victory, which means he doesn't see the ones in which he loses or he sees them and tries to cover them up.
I bet Uryuu is the key.
Given that each "grain" of a future possibility contains the whole future along that path, the Almighty likely gives him the ability to know the absolute 100% best action for him to take at any given moment, in order for him to strive for the grains with the best outcomes for him. Even if he isn't literally controlling the future, that's a huge hurdle to overcome for the good guys.
For those that read the "World Trigger" Manga, this can be compared to Jin's ability. He was feared for seeing the future but really just saw possibilities. In one of their wars he saw his lil hommie get merked but still won the war.
Point is, I'd venture to say he isn't being told which is best but he's choosing the best option and there in lies his weakness of simple human error. It's cliché as fuck but that's how I see this going down.

Can't wait for Ichigo's second Bankai or whatever else he is hiding after Yhwach does whatever power ups he has hiding as the cliffhanger next chapter.
Can't argue with Sir Charles Picard!!

I'm sure his powers like "skip a beat" per se and he misses that 1 in a bamillionjillionzayillion grain of futuresand where ichigo overwhelms him and it's all like BAKANAAAAA
If Bleach is to keep going for a while something is going to have to happen. Ichigo has already reached the final boss and used his Bankai. We haven't seen other people's Bankai's and there are a lot of things to tie up. Bach will either steal his Bankai like the other Sternritter did and force him to retreat for a while or just drain his powers and level him down and we will have to endure new secert training with his father or some shit.
We still have a final final getsugatensho cero
Aizen still has his asspull card, no doubt.
