Likely Bach will change forms into a weakened state while he attempts to destroy whatever holds the worlds together, Ichigo and Renji will defeat him then, and Ichigo will take the place as the the pin that keeps it all together.

Cmon it's not an unless. It definitely will have it because that's how this manga goes. Plus it was flat out said the reason he destroyed it before Ichigo could use it was because out of respect for it's powers. The only question is how BS will the power be
