I think the only upsetting part of this chapter for me was him getting his sword immediately broken again. That felt like a "well what the fuck?" but at the same time it makes complete sense... I mean if he did it once he could do it again... him breaking the sword a second time was the most realistic thing to happen lately.

Ya I really dislike the new sword design. It doesnt fit his fighting style either.

Looks like we at least found a limit to Bach's powers though. He had intended to fully destroy the sword, but just cracked it. Apparently you can have some control over the futures (via good fortune/rewriting the past).

I also think Ichigo seeing his two spirit powers fading away into whiteness when Bach was owning him is significant. He lost his sword when he went FGT too.

Almost certain the series will end with him sacrificing himself, or at least becoming the Spirit King's vessel now to keep the worlds in place.
