I actually think Naruto had a well fleshed out ending. It cleared up most of the plot points and gave the series total closure. Boruto will probably fuck that up though

Except Naru basically tied up everything in a bow despite some of the more insane developments. There wasn't too much of "THIS WILL MEAN SOMETHING" then nothing came of it.

That's how you know this is rushed and likely due to cancellation or tiredness. Nothing makes sense, things that were introduced meant nothing (Ryuuken showed up just to throw an arrow), and all of the build-up to the characters led nowhere.

Unresolved:

Vizard
Where the hell is Mashiro
What was Soifon doing
Where's Ukitake
What happened to Nel and Urahara
Where is Harribel
Where is Komamura
Where is Matsumoto
Where is Mayuri
What happened to Chad fighting
Etc etc

All that cannot possibly be answered in a satisfactory manner in two chapters.

This honestly was the most anticlimactic finish EVER to a fight.

The final fight in NARUTO was longer, even if you count Naruto vs. Sasuke 2 and that had more emotion and outcome.

Like I said earlier, Aizen had his Piccolo moment, Uryuu had his Vegeta moment, etc etc.

Aizen's bankai? Isshin's bankai? Ryuken's actual powers? ANYTHING AT ALL about either of them? Yhwach's Vollstandig? Letzt Stil?

Karin, Yuzu?

Oh, and let's not forget the fact that Yhwach fucking absorbed Zanka no Tachi and it was a huge plot point that got tons of discussion. Some use that was.

Can honestly tell you bros this was the shittiest chapter I've read ever and if it ends like this I will feel for the first time that I've wasted 7+ years on a manga.

While it will be in all color, it won't even get top billing over Nisekoi, a slice-of-life piece that's also ending. What a way to go.

It's Kubo's fault because he's been dragging this shit out for way too long, introducing too many pointless characters, an entire fucking arc of filler with the fullbringers, etc. It's been 6 years since the defeat of Aizen, and think of how much the plot has (not) progressed. Kubo had plenty of time to wrap things up and do a proper ending, or alternatively write better material that shonen jump didn't need to cancel, but he didn't.

Possibly. I'm curious how much control over the pacing the author has in this situation. I mean I thought it was known he wanted to end it after the first arc, so something made him continue, and I don't recall was he forced to by contract to continue the series, or did he just take a big bag of money and go "Okay how long can I ride this gravy train"?

The entire Aizen/Vizard/Espada Saga was my favorite time to jump into this thread and discuss shit, I must admit. Specifically the Ulquiorra fight and others. Or guessing what ranks all of the Espada were.
