Ichigo has no choice but to become the new king but Orihimme and Chad refuse to leave his side and thus become part of his new royal guard. Everyone who fought Askin perished. Bach returns but Ichigo cuts him down again.

Also in the 10 year flash forward they're just now finishing the repairs... so they couldn't have just reversed all the damage between the realms.

Yay! Managed to finally get caught up through the manga to where we are at now! Really loved this arc alot, I thought even with the bs powers and plotholes that it really did deliver a good final arc to Bleach. I do agree though that the ending does seem pretty rushed, really can't see them wrapping up all the loose ends with the final chapter.

Lost my shit so hard at Yachiru turning out to be Kenny's Bankai, was so epic to finally see him use his Bankai, also love the final troll moment by Aizen against Yhwach, also really really happy that Hitsugaya, Rangiku and the others are back to normal and alive again after becoming zombies, also actually felt some emotion during Kurotsuchi's battle when he lost Nemu.

Edit: Don't see why people are so upset about Ichigo and Orihime since Ichigo and Rukia always had a friend relationship from the beginning, while Orihime always loved Ichigo romantically, and Ichigo always had Orihime to motivate him just as much as Rukia.

It should have been clear to everyone from the moment she confessed to Ichigo in his sleep before being taken to Las Noches that he was going to end up with Orihime. The only other real option was Rukia but there's never really been a romantic dynamic between them. Tatsuki hasn't existed in probably 100 chapters and Nel is a Hollow.

Ichigo would be slightly pedo if he went with Nel since he first met her as a kid, but I'm not ruling out a Nel/hime threesome. Hollow thing might be a turn on for him too since you know... she's uh... got an extra hole advantage over hime.
