Shunsui is still as cool as ever. Nanao still nags him as much as ever.

SoiFon retains her position as Captain. Omaeda (her fatass unless Lieutenant) died against the Sternritter Imperial Guard. (Good riddance)

Rojuro (the musical/Vizard Captain) was somehow brought back to life by Mayuri even though he was "killed" by Gremmy and looked like he was actually dead as opposed to being a slave zombie like Toshiro was. Kira died fighting the Lille Owls.

Isane is now Captain of the 4th Division to replace Unohana. We have to assume she trained really hard during the 10 years and now has Captain level reiatsu and a Bankai. We never saw the power of her Shikai though. Kiyone Kotetsu, her little sister, is now her Lieutenant.

Shinji survived Gerard's attack thanks to Momo saving his ass but is still kind of a dick. Momo is prettier than ever with her new hairstyle.

Byakuya is as bland as ever. Renji is STILL his Lieutenant despite training with the Royal Guard and being all super strong now and having a upgraded Bankai.

Komamura died after his battle with Bambietta. Tetsuzaemon (the guy with the sunglasses who never did ANYTHING in the whole manga) his former Lieutenant is now Captain of the Division. He says he is still not worthy to be called a Captain or whatever. We never saw the power of his sword. If he has a Bankai it proabably sucks.

Lisa is suddenly Captain of the 8th Division to replace Shunsui's old post even though she was only in like two whole panels sinse the Arrancar Invasion arc. Possibly favoritism by Shunsui sinse she used to be his Lieutenant long ago? We have to assume she trained, blah blah.. has Bankai. (Renji should have been choosen for this spot)

Kensei is still Captain despite being a walker like Rojuro was. Shuhei is still his Lieutenant and says he has mastered his Bankai. We never saw it. (I will never forgive you Kubo) Mashiro is dead. Possibly killed by Shuhei's Bankai during his training with her?

Toshiro is back to being a kid again. Rangiku still has epic cleavage.

Kenpachi is still a badass and is no longer directionally challenged. He knows Yachiru is his sword's spirit now I guess. Ikkaku is his Lieutenant now. Yumichika is still a damn pretty boy.

Mayuri is still scheming. He brought back Nemu as a loli. What a sickco. Akon (the guy with the horns on his head) is his Lieutenant now.

Jushiro died giving up his life force to try and put the Soul King back together. Rukia is promoted and now is Captain of the Division.

All of the Royal Guards were killed by the Sternritter Imperial Guard except Ichibe who was was brought back to life Ichigo by some impossible bullshit. He didn't lift a finger to help after that either.

Bazz-B was killed by Hashbrown. All the other Sternritter's are dead also either killed by Shinigami or Bach himself.

Urahara, Yoruichi , Grimmjow and Nel all died inside Askin's Deluxe Poison Ball.

Hiyori is ok but the Vizards Love (guy who's sword looks like a cactus) and Hachigen (the fat one with pink hair) died to Viking Quincy.

Isshin and Ryuken showed up but decided to just chill and let their sons face mortal danger by themselves. Ryuken did deliver the silver arrow though, which was the key to killing Ganon.. I mean Bach.

Tatsuki, Keigo, and Mizuiro still live in Ichigo's shadow.

Chad became a boxer and looks strangely like Shunsui now.

Karin and Yuzu are all grown up now. Karin has respectable boobige. Yuzu still has a unhealthy attachment to her brother.

Ichigo and Orihime finally got it on and had a son. Ichi now has access to that sweet, sweet candy whenever he wants. (High five!)

Renji and Rukia had to much to drink at a party in Seireitei one night, which led to a drunken hook up, which led to a kid.

Kazui Kurosaki likes breaking and entering.

Ichika Abarai looks like her dad but acts like her mom.

Komamura wasn't implied to have died, but have lost his spiritual pressure and human form since his forbidden technique removed the curse on his clan briefly and drastically increased his power, but at the cost of becoming a regular animal.

For Nemu, she was killed during Mayuri's battle with the hand of the Spirit King, so he managed to save her brain and basically just created a new body for her and she's just "aging" as a "more perfect creation" version of herself.

The last time we see Nel, she's on her way to try and save Urahara and company. What makes you think they all died, other than just not being shown in the closing chapter? (Not saying you're wrong, just asking if I missed something).

Seems like we're just assuming everyone that could have died and wasn't shown in the last chapter did die.

One thing I don't understand is how Ichigo's son has the sword. I guess since his old sword wasn't really a Zanpakto, he didn't need to go pick one up and infuse his soul into it like normal Shinigama, and so he just manifested it out of instinct/will from his Bachgetsu spirit. Just seems a bit odd since Ichigo had to go through Urahara "almost turn into a hollow" to manifest his sword.
