I wouldn't trust what Gin was saying as true. The last time the anime caught up so close to the manga, they had fillers for about 54 weeks straight or something like that. The Bount arc. Yeah. So expect maybe another 6-8 months of this crap. Honestly I'd rather see a ton of fillers now rather than them doing 2 or 3 episodes, then going back to fillers and repeating that cycle. Yeah it sucks not having Bleach, but there's still the manga which is enough for me. I can easily enough forget about the anime cause I have so much other anime to catch up on.

Last time they caught up to the manga they literally animated up to the last possible chapter. Same thing Naruto did.

This time both shows started filler when the manga was still a quite a bit ahead, so fillers should never last 2 years again like it did for Naruto O.o

Also, Naruto just stopped fillers last week and since both shows are animated by Studio Perriot, and both are weekly manga, I assume Bleach will go back to canon soon.

Still, it was damn close when they went back to fillers. It was about 25-30 chapters at the time, and if animated usually translates to about half of that. Although the way Bleach has been recapping the past 5-6 minutes of the last episode, they could probably make it about 20 episodes.

But yeah, I would rather a huge chunk of fillers then back to a ton new canon episodes rather than that on and off thing that they do. Bleach soccer games with Captains? And how to bake cakes or whatever that stupid episode was? No thanks!

I actually liked the latest episode, it's been a while since I've actually felt anticipation to see the next one at the end. Also noticed they mentioned they'd be heading back to Hueco Mundo soon ^_^

Ok, this is gonna be a noob question because I have NOT kept up with the Bleach anime since...well, since they entered Heuco. Where does the Bleach new filler start (ep-wise) and is it any good? I've been keeping up with the Bleach manga, and it's been kind of meh lately... so I was trying to find something to spend my time on, and was wondering how the filler is going. If anyone can fill me in, I'd appreciate it;O!

Wow.. Kira just wrecked him, plain and simple. I think he probably has Bankai too seeing as powerful as he is, but dayyyyum. I really hope he beheaded that guy.

Filler starts at 168, just after Ichigo/Grimmjow 3. I'm still on the fence for the filler. Was confusing for a while because no one could tell when exactly it was.

Also, something I've noticed throughout the entire filler: where the fuck is Momo and squad 5?
