seriously lol... I havnt even watched any of the fillers aside from the 1st 5 episodes, and it was either this or he dies. and of course, the 1st option will lead to the second anyways. You'd think in a story where even they say it's not canon in any way shape or form, they would take a few more liberties.
do we even need spoilers for filler?

Trying to stay away from this thread since I stopped regularly keeping up w/the Bleach series. But how is it now? Last manga I read was in Hyukko-Mundo (sp - I know)...

I want to get caught up on the manga and just curious how you all would rate it thus far? Has it slowed down or does it continue to deliver that sorta epic feeling? I just don't want to get back into it if I feel I'm gonna be dissapointed, I loved the manga just got tired of reading it week-by-week so decided to stop reading for a while so that I have a lot to get caught up on.

Manga is awesome so far imo. Slowed a lil bit for lesser fights but still pretty good.

The fight against Noitora was average (the one you mentioned with Nel), but the long flashback following this was awesome. The current arc is starting slow, but I guess thing will pick up eventually when they are done with the current fights (I'm 5-6 chapters late tho).
And yes, reading bleach week by week suck. There is too many battles and pointless scene for me to care. It's hot horrible, but it's more fun to read 15-20 chapters at time and get a decent chunk of story.

WTF is the filler staff thinking. Fire them now! Is Cpt. Agami neutral or evil? I hate being too correct about filler. I think I stated 6-7 weeks. Boy was I wrong. LAZY!!! Kubo has nothing to do with this arc and it shows. They could drag this out out for who know how long. I am disappointed in this filler. The Bount seemed long too though so I would expect some kind of closure in print before we see ANY progression from the anime. BOO!

Even Ichigo wants filler to end now (but as somebody mentioned to me yesterday it should end in ~3/4 weeks if following the Apr-Oct TV season in japan

If the animation staff makes Amagai evil, they're just flopping around... anyone could have seen it a mile away once Kifune was revealed to be a bad guy that Amagai was probably going to be one.

I really hope there's some twist... like Lurichiyo is the bad guy or the old man is considering her to also be a traitor.

How to make good filler:

Ask the guy behind the manga for shit he wants to do but doesn't have time to fit it into the manga. For example: show a bunch of squads doing missions, backgrounds on less important characters... etc and make it all canon. Unimportant, but canon.
