Don't think it's been posted yet, but I don't keep up on this thread cause I have saved the weekly manga's for about the last 4+ months for one giant marathon..

anyways, the movie "DiamondDust rebellion" has finally been subbed and you can get it from http://bleach7.com/ or from the torrent attached... hope im not repeating thread info, but unless somebody beat Bleach7 then they just posted it in the last hour before their site is going down for maint.

I thought the second movie was tons better than the first one. since watching memories of nobody and the fact it is based on captain 3rd grader who i dont like, i wasnt expecting much at all.
Then again i just like being able to see my fave guys go off into fights together and see their Bankais i can be such a fangirl some times D:

I thought the movie was kinda bleh....

I don't even know why I watched it... I guess I was hoping to see new sword releases. I'm probably just heavily discouraged with bleach since the manga and anime are both being retarded bitches. We probably won't see Aizen actually do anything for another freakin year

each of the espadas fights will probably take.... 5-8 chapters per.
Gin and Tousen will be another 3-6 chapters. Assuming they're killed lulz, yeah right.

Insert about 7-10 pointless chapters.

Always thought zanpakutou were sort of like independent spirits forged into the swords, later abilities accessed by the person achieving mastery through practice and meditation. If it was part of a person's soul, it doesn't make sense how Rukia would've eventually gotten hers since it was supposed to be some special blade beyond merely being white if I'm recalling talk about it correctly. Also think on how Kaien got his destroyed, you'd think destroying a part of your soul would have a more detrimental effect than just prompting you to fight with your bare hands.

There's sort of the whole "type" thing to consider, too. You've got ones that are purely physical, like Renji's or Kenpachi's. Then you've got others that either elemental like Toushiro's or do freaky shit like poison with Mayuri's.

Just seems to random for like Rangiku's Haineko to be a lazy bastard, Renji to have some fucked up looking baboon, Ichigo a creepy old guy, and who knows what else is hiding in things like Byakuya's or Yamuchika.

Guess I just think it more fun to think there are alternate dimensions beyond the living world, Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, or the unseen Hell and where the King supposedly is where these things could've come from. They almost made it seem like Toushiro's sword came from an ice spirit that lurked in a cave somewhere, and anyone that could pass some intangible trial could use it. That's something I could see as a sort of lending of power, but without Kubo giving us some straight facts, who the fuck knows. :/

Battle-wise this one was way better then the first movie but the first definitely had a better story. I actually felt sorry for the girl in the first movie, this Kusaka dude just fails in all aspects.

Also how many people know about the vaizard mask? I thought it was supposed to be a secret since it's illegal hollow powers and all the vaizard got b&t for it, yet ichigo busted it out right in the middle of seireitei with tons of people watching and no one gave a shit

well iirc he only put it on as he was inside the dome-dimension thing rushing up to the tower thing with hitsugaya who wasnt paying any attention to him. everyone else was busy doing their own stuff. i guess renji/rukia and probably byakuya saw him but well, theyve already know about it

besides i try not to think about it too much. his mask, like ikkaku using his bankai, will be forgotten along with the rest of the movie story and never mentioned again

well, Byakuya's known about the mask since their battle in the SS arc.
He's not too worried about it, or I'm sure he would have tried to kill him or something.
or SS knows, and they dont really care since he's not a real shinigami.
and yeah. I'm sure if at the time they were making the movie, if they knew what Yumichika's shikai's true form was, they'd have had him use it too.
