He isn't... Ikkaku would use his Bankai if he had no other choice... he just saves it for if he's going to die because he shares Zaraki's ideals of keeping fights interesting.

There's too much at stake for him to not use his Bankai. He just doesn't want to make a fight easy and then be pestered about becoming a captain.

and the arrancar he's fighting isn't even released yet.. I'm gonna guess he has some really cheap ability, and used it to catch him off guard. Ikkaku will probably get back up and finish him with bankai. but either way...1 more week....

I forget, did they say if they need all 4 pillars to fall to get to the real town? Or is it possible with just one broken the whole illusion fails?

Pretty sure it was all 4 needed to fall.

That arrancar he was fighting looks like a Menos or something. Much larger lookin than a regular one.

He'll probably get up release bankai and win.

I REALLY would like it to be 1 pillar falls, town comes back, that way people that we want involved (fathers + vaizard + clogs) would get involved... unless they are just chilling on the streets now randomly waiting as it is, they've gotta be brought in somehow...

But yeah, I can't imagine the strongest of the 4 losing to a guy that hasn't even transformed yet. Needs to get on with anyway...
