So ofcourse, Koma let him do that, right? lol... Since it's still ikkaku's fight, and he only stepped in to stop the pillar (hence saying it should hold if you try not to damage it) so Ikkaku can get up bankai and win... The dude isn't really that strong I wouldn't think...

I think it's more to show off his Bankai. We've seen Ikkaku's, nobody gives a shit about Iba, and all we've seen of Koma's shikai is the giant hand thing which... seems a curious match to some lumbering giant. We'll probably see the whole thing this time, which'll likely be some bodyless suit of armor.

Immediately after Zaraki defeated Tousen starting at Chapter 148, Page 17. As soon as Komamura released his Ban Kai Komamura and Zaraki's attention was diverted to Soukyoku when the ceremony started, so the fight most likely didn't occur.
