yeah, but after Yumichika finished his fight with 69guy, he went back to Kenpachi, and Kenpachi said Komamaru left, saying"Genryuusai!" assumably when Yamamoto started his fight. which happened a few chapters after that page. http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/156/01/. So I just assumed they fought for a little bit.

Komamura won't use his Bankai with the pillar there, as it stated in one of the panels, the pillar will hold if it's not damaged anymore.

His Bankai and even Shikai are far too "Hulk SMASH" for this scenario.

every time a character says "Madarame" instead of Ikkaku I can't help but think of wilmer valdarama(sp)... the guy from That 70's show.

The wiki page says the next episode is on October 7th, so I guess not.

I just checked the ending of episode 188. It says it starts at a new time October 7th but it shows renji and looks like where they left off at in the anime before the fillers. So the last filler episode is probably next week

yeah anime has a 2 week break and is back on October 7th so i assume that is when the filler will end and they will somehow go back to Ichigo in Aizengard in some truly awkward way

Why does a captain have to use bankai on a trivial dude.... Unless it's just to end it quick cause of the pillars, it's pretty lame. The top 3 espada's subordinates can't be THAT strong, are we going to have all of halbiels and starks jump in for the pillars and watch 10 more bogus fights? Captains are really weak... it's gonna take 2-3 captains vs one espada at this rate.

well.. theres 4 fraccion that havnt fought yet, so who knows. as for Komomaru

i know lol. the fact they are fraccion means they must be weaker than Yammy right? (i wonder where he is actually) and that dude is seriously weaksauce, or ast least thats the impression we get of him.

i dunno though. i guess its mostly to make the fights more interesting.
Saying thart though the fight could have been over in like 1 chapter if Ikkaku took it seriously and did what he was supposed to.
Yes i know, we all get his "i dont wanna use my bankai and go all out" crap but there is a time and a place for it

Anyway

if the captains really are that weaksauce it just means the vizard etc have an excuse to come in and act all cool, saving the day

Bleach isn't exactly known for maintaining its power balance for more than 10 seconds or so, characters get stronger and weaker on a whim to make the fights interesting. Lurichiyo could fight aizen and they'd find a way to make it worth watching (seeing her get dismembered would be worth watching).

I'm wondering where Wonderwiece is more than Yammy. Also hoping they get to who the two people are that are hanging from AA's lab.

Aside from Ichigo noones really jumped around in power levels that I noticed. Except for Zaraki and Ikkaku, but for both of them, they held back just to enjoy the fight more, then ichigo got his little power boost and knocked em out real quick-like. Kubo's made it real hard for us to match up captains powers
