    Yamamoto vs barragan is lame, unless he 1hit kills him instantly.

    It takes 1 gay captain for 1 espada, 2 for another, and commander for the other.... meanwhile we have 3 bad captains with unknown strength, noone is left strong enough for them....

    Bring in vaizards and Urahara plz.

    I suspect he isn't planning on having Urahara/Vaizards arrive until after this phase is finished and Aizen/Tousen/Gin break out and/or get released from flameprison. That means the Espada will either lose or get bored of fighting and break the flameprison somehow.

    I'm thinking Aizen isn't actually there, but is deceiving everyone. I mean, if Renji can release without saying his sword's name, I'm sure Aizen can too. He's probably off at the real town, already has the key made, and is drinking a cup of tea waiting for everyone to show up~

    glad this was wrong. as much as it is their personalities, it just didn't fit at all with the mood of the battle.

    Well, it wasn't wrong. It's just that Shunsui still feels he has to fight. And yeah...that wouldn't fit the mood at all. Far too much of epic wartime battle to have a light-hearted tea party.

    Well, it wasn't really wrong as he said... it was correct... just not very specific. Reading the chapter closely, you can see Shunsui is unusually serious. I bet the fight between him and Stark will be the best.

    This chapter helped to further cement my notion of not seeing all the bankai's in this battle. It shows that there's still a lot the manga wants to show, both story and weaponry wise so my bet is the ultimate battle taking place in hell with the zero squad. Having said that, I think the most epic battle in this arc will most likely be Stark Vs. Shunsui.

    Wikipidia says the name of the episode in two weeks is "Nel's Secret, a Big-Breasted Beauty Joins the Battle!?" Who ever came up with that title deserves a high five.

    I just watched this weeks raw episode. Nice to see it back on track. Too bad we have to go back and forth to the renji fight.

    this was the 1st episode after the filler right? did I miss an episode somewhere? they kinda rushed the last part of the grimmjaw fight and even left out his whole "how he became an arrancer" flashback.

    I remember the flashbacks and his super blue claws of death stuff happening after Ichigo one shotted him after Orihime told ichigo not to get hurt anymore. and the last ep before filler left off with that didnt it?

    This was all recap up until ichigo and inoue jumped off the tower and grimmjow walked up behind them. The grimmjow's background stuff and the end of the fight was covered in the last episode before the filler began.

    New OP is pretty cool imo. Not looking forward to the drawn out szayel fight.
