Ha this is why I didnt want to read the manga, I was thinking anime was alot farther than it actually is. All I could think while watching the anime was why did they go back so far, I thought it was up to nell vs nnoitra.

That's only a couple (2?) eps away so you're not too far off

And if Shinigami Golden is any indication, the captain fights are only 7 eps off. I think the anime is still going to catch up quicker than we want it to even with drawn out fights.

Well look at it this way, in the manga, the Ichigo vs Grimmjaw fight that they recapped, took about 3 episodes maybe 4 to do. it took almost 8 weeks of manga to do. What do you think is going to happen with the Apollo fight, I mean yeah they have been dragging out the fight for Apollo from what we have seen.

I'm sure when Mayuri's part of the Apollo fight comes it won't last long, and I'm actually looking forward to it, as Mayuri always has interesting (...well...torturous) ways of fighting his opponents.

In the Golden Book at the end, the healer dude says he will be coming up in the next couple of episodes and it shows that it will be 197. We just watched 190 so in 7 episodes the captains will be showing up. So that leaves us with 6-7 episodes for Nel to transform and he back story to be told. Then long ass boring fight of Apollo.

Completely forgot about the small flashback arc. Yeah, its going to be a while before they catch up with the current manga story.

I'm not going to complain about it taking awhile to catch up with the real story, because the longer it takes for the anime to catch up with the manga, the longer it will be that i have to stop watching bleach because of another filler anime arc.

I don't typically watch the golden book/extra stuff at the end of any anime, so I didn't notice that either. Still some very good stuff coming up.

On the topic of the manga, I'm very excited to see the Vaizards come into the fight, since after the "Turning Back the Pendulum" arc and then it showed them coming out the door to show everyone how it's really done. I've been patiently waiting for them be shown again. IMO we need more Vaizard action and less Hitsugaya action.

Nothing wrong with Hitsugaya fighting, or Soifon, Rangiku, etc. except that they've already had onscreen fights, and Uchitake, Shunsui and almost all the Vaizards haven't.

Like I've said before, I doubt the Vizards are going to get any real action out of this arc minus maybe one or two. More then likely will be saved for the inevitable Hell Vs. Zero Squad arc. Got this strange feeling we won't see Urahara's bankai either.

The new OP is really good, I love it. But as always, just when I can be a total weeaboo in the privacy of my own home and sing along, they go and change it up. Man I forgot about Nell, really awesome to be back to the main arc, "Even if she's heavy, yer s'posed ta say she's light! Even if she's really heavy!"


I'm pretty sure they can't do everything in 7 episodes. We've got Syazael+Ishido/Renji , Syazael vs Mayuri, Noitora vs Ichigo + Nel + backstory + Kenpachi vs Noitora don't we. I'm sure I'm even forgetting stuff, that's a fuckton to cram into 7 episodes, I mean if it's really good pacing I won't mind but it better not be rushed.

Yeah, Nel is awesome. It was the only good thing that came out of this arc.

We were just saying the captain fights might start in 7 eps since Hanatoro makes his appearance with the rest of the captains. Between now and then we have Syazael vs Ishida/Renji, Syazael vs Nel's fraccion (w/ fu-sion-ha), Nel vs Noitria and some flashback. I think that should be enough to get us from 191-196 without rushing then have everyone show up in 197 (or maybe even the end of it).

Don't forget zaraki vs. tesla! And all we know is that hanataro shows up in 7 episodes, but all he does is show up with his captain to heal rukia, right? That doesn't mean the captain battles will start there necessarily.

Yeah, he just shows up, starts healing rukia/chad and that's about it. In the manga that happened right before the captains all paired off with Espada and started fighting if I remember right. Of course, the anime could mix up the order of events if it wanted.

I was just saying that I think that Hitsugaya is an annoying character. (His movie i thought made him a bit cooler) but otherwise I'm kinda sick of seeing him and not the other captains.

Pretty funny beginning to that chapter (she called Matsumoto, "cow tits" lol). I really hope Soi Fon doesn't win that easy though, I want to see her Bankai.
