while I agree 100% with your statement, the VC's Ichigo fought, and the ones Allon fought are probably on the opposite side of the strength spectrum.Fat annoying stupid guy, Isane who is VC of the healing squad, and Yama's VC who has been given absolutely no character development. plus the injuries are 100times worse. though i'm sure ichigo was holding back, Allon doesnt seem to be trying too hard either.
That being said, I can see why Yamamoto hasn't replaced any of the captains yet. all the Vice Captains suck.

Kubo would have been better off having Ikkaku jump in to fight Allon. He would have used his bankai out of guilt for losing one of the pillars, that would have been 10x more bad-ass then this. Also would have the more logical approach considering the all VC's against Allon theme this battle had. Yama being relegated to take out Allon kind of lessens the impact his character has in my opinion. The strongest shinigami in Soul Society is dragged into killing forgettable enemies.

I thought this would happen too, seeing how Ikakku's Bankai is purely offensive, seeing how the Allon seems the same. Sadly they don't do it.

I still see the point of Captain Commander coming in but I would much rather Ikkaku come in. Possibly the Fraccion will sacrifice another part of their body to heal the hole and then Ikkaku will jump in and make up for it in that way.

I agree completly i really want to know who is #1 now. The Espada i think are kinda pointless no matter how strong they are they arnt going to be stronger than Aizen i would think so they are just punching bags so he can get his plan to go through how he wants it too.

I kinda hope yama just wipes out those fraccion girls and then the espada fights start, because these fraccion fights have been dragged out for months and i really cannot take it any more lol
