Me too, I was hoping he'd be #1 since the day I found out Ulquiorra wasn't #1. Still disappointed about Ulquiorra only being #4. What the hell is Yammi doing during all of this? I wonder if Kubo had forgotten all about him, haha. And I still cannot wait for the Vizards to make their entrance.

Can't find the pic at the moment but someone correctly predicted the order of the top 3 a couple of months back. It was pushed out as a legitimate cover of the scanlations, one where they show all of the espada's faces, but was just accepted as a hoax. Either way this chapter was awesome and Halibel has won my opinion on best espada, might be a little bias due to the boobs but who can blame me.

That was a real fight? You mean how he talked and killed them in one swing? WHOA HOLY SHIT MAN THAT WAS FUCKING DYNAMITE! So far it's still zzz, but it has the potential to get better. Atm, however, it's still shit.

Of course I don't mean the fraccion battles, "WAS FUCKING DYNAMITE!," I'm just glad for the most part they're done and over with. I didn't mean they were real fights, just fillers in my opinion until we get to see the battles everyone wants to see. Which is exactly what this chapter has shown.

To whoever mentioned Aizen and the others possibly being vizard, there is no question, they most definitely unlocked the hollow side of their powers like Ichigo and the Vizards have. Aizen's little speech before leaving SS was all about how Shinigami had a limit and they had to break into the realm of Hollow to get past that limit.

Don't forget.. None of these espada are Vasto Lords. Aizen is talking to Gin or Tousen at some point in HM, and says they have yet to find them. Which if the Arrancar he made are this strong, the VL's are gonna be even tougher? Also note when the Gillians broke into Soul Society and took Aizen, there was some HUGE purple thing behind them. Who knows what that is.

I can just see what's coming. Once every 1000 years, one shinigami gets the ability to transform his Zanpaktou into a 3rd stage. Sound familiar? I'm not ruling it out. I mean, what else can ichigo achieve, aside from a new move or two with Zangetsu. I can't see him powering up that much more.

Guess we'll see. Incoming plotkai's in the Ulquiorra v Ichigo battle!!!

Don't get me wrong, I am excited to see stuff moving forward, but it just hit a slow point for me. I hope it gets better in the next few weeks. I also read that there is no manga next week for Golden Week, or whatever it is.

I liked this chapter better than the last 10ish or so.. think the last time I liked a bleach chapter was when Kira decapitated that bird.
I think the reason people like it, including me, is because something else happened other than stupid people we dont care about fighting. I'm pretty sure every one of us expected the next 1-2 chapters to just be the 3 Halibel Fraccions fighting. but instead we got to find out the exact order of the last 3 espada.

You guys are defending it solely because you're biased and you WANT it to get better. Take away your admiration of Bleach and look at it directly: you, a consumer, want a quality good. Bleach isn't giving quality, but quantity (see: pointless battle/taunt after pointless battle/taunt). I'm as optimistic as you guys are trying to be, but currently it's not doing well. Look at the recent sales of Bleach manga... it's utter shit. It needs a lot more WHATTHEFUCKBOOOOOM scenes to dig itself out of the hole it currently resides in, and the whole chop suey one-slice-and-dice chapter won't cut it.
