yeah i reckon kenpachi's sword should be a banned topic in here from now on.

and yus screw bleach, more naruto/op talk. but i usually find watching bleach anime is more entertaining after reading episode recaps first

i think the main reason why i haven't given OP a try yet is the same reason i dont read books. if i pick up something to read i find it impossible to put down until i finish. when i finally got into naruto, i watched the anime, it was up to errr some time before Hidan/Kazazu were about to show up, and once i caught up on that i went to carry it on in the manga and literally sat there until i had finished D: by then it was a few chapters before pain was about to turn up at konoha, must've read close to 100 chapters that day D:

When I got into Bleach and went to torrenting the DB subbed episodes, I completely hopped over them to get back into the cannon. One of my fears for Bleach over here was for people that rely on Adult Swim for Bleach and become completely disenchanted with the whole series due to the HUGE bount arc.

When i started watching Bleach it was hard to find some of the first few SS Episodes in JP and english sub, so i had to watch a few in dub and ..... Renji just made me want to die i wouldnt watch Bleach from then on unless it was subbed.

Yeah, the bount arc sucked balls, it almost got me to quit this series. Of course Kubo is doing a pretty good job of getting people to want to quit it with the cannon shit he's pulling...

The only REAL problem I had with Bounto was how fucking retarded they made the excuse for Ichigo's power. It was like... hey fans, you liked that cool new move Ichigio learned in the last arc?! TOO FUCKING BAD! HE'S BACK TO BEING A WEAKASS. What a joke >_>

like many when i first started watching bleach it was the dubbed version, up until about half way through the SS arc. although it is good compared to some other horrible dubbed series.
Also i hadnt read the manga, and i didnt know the bount stuff was "filler" lol, i was watching it all like ... wtf is this shit

I actually liked the Bount arc. Overall as a story-arc, it helped to foreshadow the fear Ichigo would eventually have about himself and how his friends perceive him.

The whole byakuka/ichigo vs Karia fight had potential, until Ram-my-butt-nao shows up and ruins it. Then emo king Uryuu shows up and I kinda lost hope.

I still think the final battle between Ichigo/Kariya was a lot more meaningful and deep then Ichigo/Grimmjow. Showed a hell of a lot more character development then Kubo's rabbit out the ass "you can't hit me anymore grimm lulz." Not saying the whole Bount arc was awesome, I just find it overall better then the "Mah true Powa!" crap we've been seeing for the past year.

Edit: i think i'm being to nice to it from watching the "Captain Amagai" arc the fact there bring back that claptrap of alt-reality-non-cannon next week makes me want to puke....

If I was a mod, I'd ban you. Yes, it has been officially stated (not from wiki) that it is released. but some people still dont believe it to be the case and they will argue about it and it will go nowhere, so just let everyone believe what they want to believe. now shut up about it godamnit.
and no, you didn't put it to rest cause that arguement's been used every other discussion.
It also mentions diamond dust rebellion which isnt canon so it's fail. not too mention it's from wiki.
