I don't know next week episode looks like it could be mildly entertaining and these fillers wont be long so maybe one or two more episodes remain then the pen arc and that's well worth the wait.

Is it just me or does ichigo and ishida voices sound different ?

Bleach's filler has got to be the worst filler ever made for any anime. How can you just take all of these characters out of big important storylines and throw them back into the real world as if nothing happened? -_- Not even once, but TWICE now.

I already said I was done with this anime before, and yet I keep watching it. Something is wrong with me.

edit: Screw it, I refuse to watch this filler. First episode I have actually stopped in the middle of. >.>

Bleach fillers are bad, but NOT EVEN CLOSE to the old Naruto ones before Shippuden.....God, no....not even close.

I guess I wasn't as mad about the Naruto filler since it was still when I was actually catching up on the series and didn't have to wait a week for each of the horrible filler episodes.

Christ, I thought the Bount and New Captain filler was bad. This shit is TERRIBLE. I watched about 30 seconds of it before I decided to skip around the episode. 20 Seconds later, the episode was over. Next week is about a tournament of some sort, f that too.

I think I'll just not watch Bleach for a year, and pick it up then.

Come on. Ishida took on Szayel and only lost because of Szayel's abilities. Yammi is a step down from that... geez.

After last weeks chapter I thought they may finally be moving along in the manga, I was wrong each step forward they make they take five steps back. Only thing I can think of is ichigo has been holding back since he entered hueco mundo because he fears releasing the hollow power he has.

With everyone talking about hating bleach and the like, i thought id point out a few things that i gotta know before i can walk away from the series with a feeling of closure:

1.) Zaraki/Yachiru:

Zaraki: He supposedly loves fighting, but why join the Soul reapers? Wouldn't he be better off on his own? He never struck me as someone that liked rules or authority. Seems he would find more battles, even fighting random hollows on his own. Pure speculation here, but i'm guessing the captain he "killed" was ichigo's dad. Probably a fixed fight. Ichigo's dad wanted to live with his wife in the world of the living, and the only way out of the soul society for him was to fake his death. He's probably a close friend with zaraki, or even the "one person zaraki ever respected" and took over his job as a personal favor. Ichigo's dad then went to urahara to make him a body to use. Would also explain why zaraki is the one, 9/10 times, to come to Ichigo's aid when he's near death. Probably figured out after their battle who ichigo was, and is looking out for him because of that. I don't buy the whole "we're alot alike" bit. Ichigo doesnt like fighting like zaraki does.

Yachiru: I gotta know whats up with her. She can lift zaraki, use flashsteps efforlessly, and if you watch during the noitora/kenpachi fight, when kenpachi unleashes all of his spiritual pressure, Yachiru was completely unfazed by it, while orihime and ichigo in bankai were almost blown away. All this, yet she looks like a 9 year old. Plus, could a captain name her as his lieutenant without her having to be tested in combat at all? The rest of the squad doesn't seem to even question her being the lieutenant. Could be out of respect for Zaraki that nobody questions her, but more than once someone in the soul society has shown fear in her presence.

2.) I gotta see Yamamoto/kenpachi/urahara's bankais. Just...have to. Didn't list Shusui because i'm holding out hope he is going to use against Stark.

And the anime is still keeping with my prediction of them filling up the pend. arc to make it last until april, then fillers until october D: (you know its gonna happen)

But what my point was is what influence does a random noble family have on them, and also, early on, they made it pretty apparent that there's a great disparity between Seireitei (where the Shinigami and Nobles live) and Rukongai (where the commoners live), so why would the commoners suddenly have an interest/influence in how the government works. I'm just saying its an odd inconsistency between this filler and the actual story.

During ichigo's first fight with zaraki a messenger went to tell yachiru something and her spirit pressure formed a pink dragon and scared the messenger off.

She probably trains with kenpatchi and no one notices her during a fight they just pay attention to the 7ft spikey haired guy and not the pink haired little girl.

@ the theory about Ichigo's father, i wouldn't be surprised in the least if it is exactly that. I think the series would befitted as a whole if he work info like just wtf are Ichigo and his father, but it has felt like Kuba has painted himself into a corner at the end of the hueco mundo arc, and thus everything that follow pendulum was him stalling to get out of that corner.

Well, there's technically at least 2 realms that remain untapped: Hell and whatever the King's Dimension is. I imagine Aizen will succeed in whatever he has planned for now, and hopefully we'll get into stuff regarding Isshin, Uuryu's dad, and whatever happened to the Shiba family to knock 'em out of nobility.

Downside is this means the cast will likely grow larger still, with not nearly enough page time to really get people histories or entertaining fights. I still wish we'd get monthly bonus issues that concentrated on a specific person that month and give us some fun backstory or adventure to read. It's not like the art can't be outsourced with the story coming from Kubo.
