That is really my only problem with Bleach and Naruto. If they wanted to, they could make these animes go on forever. I'm always sad when an anime ends, but they have to end eventually or they start to get bad and ruin the anime (Inuyasha). ;/

Yeah, I usually stick to 26 episodes (or 50) animes for that reason. Well, I'm not scared of them ruining bleach, but it lose its charm after 100episodes kinda. You expect most plot twist, and don't care as much about the outcome.

Well, what I was saying also apply to shonen manga. The story generally stop surprising you after a while, and lose its charm.

shounen is a genre, not a magasine. Basically, "guys anime", even if it kinda include 90% of the stuff out there. But generally, people use it to define the never ending action anime like the 3 you mentioned.

Even if it's a supergenre, it applies to Death Note and Monster just as much as anything else, and I mentioned the serial because it exemplefies the supergenre very well in many respects. If you've been using the word to refer to the eternal action subgenre, then that makes more sense.

Well, pretty sure BRB meant the subcategory, or his post wouldnt make much sense. Shounen genre is too large, and have too many differents type of anime (Death Note and Bleach for example are completly different), and if he was refering to the magazine itself, he would have said Shonen jump probably.

to answer your question serif, no the stuff that happened in 124 didn't happen in the manga. it was a nice addition though, explaining the process and ichigo's inner self more than the manga did.
